I love how some of the younger players do interviews. Being like “yea bro we got whacked so I don’t want to be here” is exactly what I would say to my buddies 😂 (vs. like an older player who would be like “of course we’re disappointed, blah blah blah”)
You may not know this or be aware but NHL players are given training sessions and prep interview sessions by staff of their NHL team called PR & Media Publicists. They train and coach the players how to answer questions, avoid questions, give management type answers, give fan type answers, etc. it’s all very real and that’s why these star players speak slowly and without much emotion.

not sure if you guys saw it but in game two, Timo Meier got asked "I noticed you blocked a shot how did that feel." I was just waiting for him to just say it hurt like hell.

Asa huge Red Deer Rebels fan and a Devils fan since day 1 in 82.....if I was the Devils GM. There would be 3 major differencrs with roster 1. Hagal would have been drafted or signed undrafted as soon as he was eligible 2. We draft Yaroslav Askarov and not Alex Holtz and 3. Never trade for Timo Mier and we sti have 3 key prospets especially Nikita Okhotyuk. HomestlyvI never bring in Vanacek either.
