@@mistafyremusicmusic doesn't have an expiration date, doesn't go bad like a piece of fruit. So let her chill as many years as she wants... good music is good music
Just... Yes... You see, this is why I look at the comments, people like you going through and trying to help others out. Congrats, you just made my faith in humanity rise the tiniest bit.
Parabéns cara! Realmente é muito gratificante aprender essa intro, não só ela mas toda a música é incrível. Congratulations man! Is really good learn this intro, not only the intro but all the music is amazing.
They say Taylor was a good girl, never one to be late Complain, express ideas in her brain Working on the night shift, passing out the tickets You're gonna have to pay her if you want to park here Well mommy's little dancer is quite a little secret Working on the streets now, never gonna keep it It's quite an imposition and now she's only wishin' That she would have listened to the words they said Poor Taylor She just wanders around, unaffected by, The winter winds here, she'll pretend that She's somewhere else, so far and clear About two thousand miles, from here Well Peter Patrick pitter patters on the window, The sunny silhouette won't let him in And poor old Pete's got nothing 'cause he's been falling And somehow sunny knows just where he's been He thinks that singin' on Sunday's gonna save his soul Now that Saturday's gone And sometimes he thinks that he's on his way, But I can see, that his brake lights are on He just wanders around, unaffected by, The winter winds here, and he'll pretend that He's somewhere else, so far and clear, About two thousand miles from here Such a tough enchilada, filled up with nada Givin' what you gotta give to get a dollar bill Used to be a limber chicken, times have been a ticking Now she's finger lickin' to the man With the money in his pocket, flying in his rocket And only stopping by on his way to a better world If Taylor finds a better world Then Taylor's gonna run away
"Poor old Pete's got nothing cause he's been falling. Somehow Sunny knows just where he's been. He thinks that singing on Sunday gonna save his soul, now that Saturday's gone. And sometimes he thinks that he's on his way, but I can see that his brake lights are on." I know the general consensus on Peter Patrick is that he's a 'client' of Taylor's, a so-called "John" but I disagree. I think they're two unrelated characters, two separate stories about two people that have lost their way. Personally, I think Peter is an alcoholic or an addict, or one who is slowly descending (falling) into one or the other or both. My perception of course could be influenced by my own experience; in my early 20s I found myself in a terrible time of life, and happened to discover opiates in that time and spent the next several years descending further and further into addiction. I'd known this song for years at that point, but I hadn't heard it in a long time and one day I had my iPod on random and it played and the Peter Patrick part just rocked me to my core. It felt like he was singing about me. That was one of many wake-up calls I received through the power of music in my journey of losing and then finding myself. I attribute my recovery to a lot of things but I don't think I'd be here today if it wasn't for music like this
I love Jack Johnson :) I had heard this song wayyyy before Cody Simpson put out a cover. And I like both. So Cody fans stop saying Cody is wayy better Jack Johnson fans back off too, its fine to have opinions. :)
Had a weird moment at the Las Vegas airport playing this song. Just chilling waiting for my flight and realized I was sitting in the exact same seat 12 years earlier listening to the same song. I was 14 then I’m 26 now.
