Heard this song for the first time when I watched the Curious George movie in the theaters when I was like 4, makes me so happy because I remember the whole time I was in my seat smiling from ear to ear, (because I LOVED monkeys and yellow, not to mention I loved George) now I'm 13 and still love the movie and watch it frequently! ;)
The exact thing happened to me! I'm also thirteen and i remember being young and watching curious george, and I always think about this song! I finally found it yay!
Those who are watching this during this lockdown period where the whole world is facing a crisis and struggle to rise up. This song just brings so much of joy into me and I hope it does to u too. This song always tells me that literally there is more to life and that definitely we will all rise up if we face this as we and not as me. And this song just vanishes all the problems life can give u. Drop a like of you agree ♥️
Same here! It never fails to calm me down and I can’t help but feel warm and comfy when I listen to it. I even hum it to myself sometimes when I’m stressed/nervous. It’s weird how NICE this song is:)
I heard this song when I was really young, and never could remember the lyrics to is. I just remembered it said upside down in it. I remember on the bus when I was in element and even in middle school I'd sometimes hum the tune to it and wonder what the song was. I finally found the song one or two years ago, and it still brings a smile of nostalgia to my face. Coming back here always makes me smile, and I hope it does for others too 🧡
My cat just died and hearing this song reminded me of all the memories and that it’s the circle of life thank you jack Johnson go this wonder of a song😪
Wow, every time I try to sing along to this I can’t even make it halfway through without getting choked up and teary-eyed with feelings of pure bliss and joy. A true timeless masterpiece
This songs makes me cry. I hadn’t heard it in 10 ten years and then it showed up on my recommended. It reminds me of when I was younger and I didn’t have to be a teenager. It reminds me of when everything was ok. I really miss that and so this is VERY nostalgic...
I heard this song for like a second in a video and I was like, ‘wonder why that’s so familiar’ but then I remembered it was from the curious George movie I watched when I was little and I almost cried
This song means alot to me. My son and I watched this movie before he went to Iraq. He told me to always remember us. I can say without a doubt, I DO! I love you James!
I feel you bro, this song makes me feel so happy but so sad at the same time knowing that those happy moments are now nothing but memories and life will never feel or be the same as it was when we were just young children😞
Is anyone else here because of the Arby’s menu had gotten stolen and you didn’t know it came from curious George so you searched “I’m gonna turn the whole thing upside down” and now you’re listening to it and it’s actually pretty good, no just me?
God this song is nostalgic.... Probably the first movie I can actually remember I saw in theaters.... I was with my mom and my dad was the manager of the theater and I watched that movie showing after showing..... I’ll always remember Curious George as the Monkey movie.... I’m 15 right now as of commenting this.... I hope my kids one day will see this movie and feel the same as I do....
Literally started crying cause it brought back the good memories I had from such a hard past. I forgot all about this song but now I keep it in my playlist for memories.
the level of nostalgia i’m getting from this is like no other, i can’t even explain it, it reminds me of when life was so good and when everything was perfect, i just wasn’t aware of it until it all ended 😔
I remember hearing this in Curious George the movie when I was like 4-5 and this has had been my childhood song for such a long time. I'm 13 and I still really love Curious George 😂
I had never heard this song or any other music from Jack Johnson until my baby sister fell deeply in love with Curious George and she started watching the movie every day (she was 2). I immediately loved this song, and I really appreciate the fact that it was in a kids movie! It is so beautiful
I remember this song playing while I was fishing with my grandma and grandpa when I was 4 years old I'm 13 and have never forgotten this song and never will
This song makes me cry. We sang this song back in 5th grade graduation and things were so much simpler in elementary school there were very little fights and we got to go outside for recess and almost everyone were best friends and when we had field day and party's for every holiday and all of that stuff But now in high school there's lots of drama and fights and stress and exams and worrying about the future and a lot of worries
Was sitting in Sweet Peppers today with my family and this started playing. I was like... Oh this is from Curious George. 😊 Childhood memories came flooding back.
I haven’t heard this song in so long. I have the movie and my parents had it on their MP3 player. But it’s been at least 10 years. I missed this song so much. It’s so good
