LOL my hubby and I were talking about that too! It seemed like every other character we were confusing with another actor or actress! I can't think of all the characters names, but Butchers wife has a lot of similarity to the mom from 'spy kids' and 'hill house' , the assistant remined us of Joan Cusack, Starfire has something reminiscent of Kristen Bell , gosh I could go on. Now i feel like doing a little digging and seeing who all the other characters actually are. Either way fun to see other people noticing the resemblance.

LOL I know I feel like 'deep' is such a complicated character...at first I hated all of the super heros, but as the show goes on I am seeing the other side of them and feeling a little conflicted. I’m glad when a child of famous people, who then becomes famous themselves. Gets a chance like this to show they are their own person and have their own talent. And because of that, they get to move away from the shadow of their parent/s and can be recognised just for being who they are as an individual person. Dakota Johnson is another one.

zammmerjammer Yes, I totally get that too. Especially when they literally get a job JUST because of who their parents are. But that doesn’t mean that they all don’t have talent and have worked hard. In everyday life, kids follow in the footsteps of their parents all the time because that’s what they know, whether you continue on with your fathers garage as a mechanic or become a hairdresser and work in your parents salon for example. But for some reason, people don’t think like that when it concerns actors or singers. Which I find strange. Because they would’ve grew up surrounded by it, just like if your parents owned a pub or a butchers shop etc. It’s what you know.

@@jamgart6880 UNLIKE all the random professions you mentioned, getting seen by the right people is a HUGE part of getting roles in movies and TV. And every role given to someone who got into the room or in front of the casting director because mommy or daddy was a movie star is one less opportunity for someone who was equally talented and hard-working but whose parents weren't celebs.

zammmerjammer I guess the same can be said for all professions. Maybe I wanted to be a mechanic at my local garage, but the job was given to the owners son? The amount of times I’ve heard ‘it’s not what you know, it’s who you know’ and that’s in ANY job. There have been plenty of unqualified people in positions they didn’t deserve just because a family member, or friend put them above all others. From what I’ve seen when it comes to actors who have famous parents, they are generally pretty good at what they do. I would guess because they realise EVERYONE will see them acting so they have to be half decent at it because they will sure as hell be compared to their parents. At least they are willing to work, there’s plenty of famous peoples kids out there who are spoiled brats and just live off of daddy’s money.

Been a fan of this awesome guy since he was in The Hunger Games and I am so happy and proud of him making it on his own! With parents as famous of his he easily could’ve just used their names to get whatever he wanted but instead he’s a very hard working down to earth guy who’s earned this role and chance at fame! I watched the Kelly Clarkson interview with Dennis Quaid and Jack’s father who is as you know Dennis Quaid actually talked about how his son did all of this on his own without their managers or anything else. So it’s great that he has achieved is it success on his own because I think that would make any person more proud to have not had to go through His parents. It makes him more credible
