Jack Ruby did not launch the career of burning spear as been stated in this video. Burning spear recorded their first song at studio one called door peep. They recorded many songs and albums at studio one long before they recorded for Jack Ruby

Legendary Jack Ruby! He played a tremendous role in the development of reggae, dancehall and many upcoming artists. One Music Ave in Ocho Rios was always abuzz back in the days with the latest tracks, young upcoming artists as well as established ones. There is a famous dance/ clash between Necodemous and Brigadier Jerry but Brigadier never showed up. Artists like Jah Buzz, Bobby Culture and Mickey Simpson to name a few were ever present on his sound system. He is the producer behind Burning Spear classic album, Marcus Garvey.
