No one will ever, ever inspire me as much as Andrew. He saved my life, and my best friend's life. Watching this... I haven't grinned so large in a very, very long time. yeah so why am I crying?. I love this band, these men. I saw them live recently and I just cant express how excited I am for this. I've written short stories inspired by thier music, I've doodles waves and little dog paddleing figures inspired by "Swim", on the back of a many a notebook. Thankyou so much Jack's. xxxxx
Inspiration is definitely a word I would label him with. For many months, his music alone was what got me through some pretty dark times. I still carry his music on my iPod with me every where I go knowing that when it gets a little dark, I always have a little bit of light with me. Thank you, Andrew
this may be one of the most beautiful pieces of footage i've ever seen. once you get past what you're seeing and see what you're hearing, the entire piece opens up to you. i'm definitely one of those people who call him an inspiration. can't wait for people & things.
This is incredible. I can't wait. So emotional, and the song in the background sounds AWESOME. I cant wait till this album comes out. Also... LOL at Bobby at the end.
I was not so sure about the whole "running" thing, but the voice over was cool, so I continued to watch. Then Bobby came out and started running and that is when I realized that this is possibly one of the most ridiculous productions I have ever seen. From so cool to just so dorky. But that's what I love about it.
I could be wrong...But is this video recorded in Brooklyn right near the Williamsburg Waterfront. I saw a Death Cab show there and right at the end of the video it looks like NYC from Brooklyn.
@bamfwassuppp - Everyone has their own opinion, but I have personally met this incredibly amazing, inspirational man and I was not disappointed by him at all. He is easily one of the sweetest and genuine people I have met. It was five years ago this month, and it was single-handedly one of the most amazing moments in my life. This man is a fighter, Andrew McMahon never ceases to amazing me, I truly wish that you could see this too.
@rocklover3300 They still say hiatus. There is nowhere that he claims to have a break up but I don't know cause I remember when I saw Soco in Chicago last May, I thought he said something about a breakup but at the same time, he always says hiatus so I don't know which is true :D
Does anybody know why Andrew uses singular versus plural tense in certain instances in this video? For example, he says "thing" instead of "things" at 1:24, and "song" instead of "songs" at 2:03 - even when these words should be plural in the context of his sentences. But at the end of the video, he says, "People and Things" (plural). I'm wondering if he does this on purpose; and, if so, for what reason.
Did he say that things fell apart with SoCo? I thought they went on hitatus to take a break and then Andrew fell in love with the idea of Jack's Mannequin. I guess they did break-up in the end
