after what this guys been through i really find what he does quite amazing and inspirational. the music is beautiful and the lyrics haunting keep up the amazing work mate :]
I met him this summer too. Most moving moment of my life. While waiting, I didn't speak a word. The second I turned away from him I literally burst into tears and started shaking. My friend has "just keep your head above" from Swim tattooed to her wrist and he touched it. To anyone who truly loves Andrew, you understand how much that really meant to her. It was a great night.
Definitely. That man is nothing but pure genius. I just wish I would have seen him play with SoCo about three years ago but I didn't. I'd kill to see "Konstantine" live. I've seen him with JM and it's in the top 5 concerts I've ever been to.
i'm sure he/she didn´t knew... leukemya is a horrible disease, but i think he looks great... and what he is doing with that leukemya center is awesome... i thing is one of my "admirable men" in my top10list... that feelings he has for the music... is totally adictive...

am I the only one that doesn't really miss SoCo? he's made his two best records without them, the reason he stopped doing SoCo was that it wasn't fun for him and he didn't have full control over how the albums sounded. his music's freer and more focused now, he has all final say on the music. hence the reason his photo is on the new album cover he is Jack's Mannequin and it suits him well I think
I have to say that his musical maturity between this and something corporate is like comparing a 1 year old to a 95 yr old man. I think his brush with cancer and sensing his own mortality really brought into perspective his view on life and what inspires him.
@BirdsongVids Wrong. On the day EVERYTHING in Transit was released, he had been in the hospital for about 6 months with leukemia, The day it was released was when he got his bone marrow transplant from his sister Katie.
I'm sorry, but SoCo and JM can't even compare to each other. They're two totally different sounds and concepts. I will forever love Andrew and I just don't know how I could ever chose a favorite between the two.
Yah ur rite JM is more popular,but in a way Something Corporate was when he shined the most in his music.But no matter what I like Jacks Mannequin as much as Something Corporate
He doesn't have a great voice? Are you flippin kidding me? His voice is amazing. He sings with so much passion. And so is his piano playing. If I was gay, I'd totally do him... No homo =)
i think gems have come out of both soco and jack's mannequin. if i'm being honest i think andrew's most poignant songs came before they ever even got a major label record deal and he was able to re-record them for the major label and some of them got butchered (punk rock princess, for one). i still like songs from JM though. i've always only liked a handful of songs off all their albums since leaving through the window, but the ones i like i LOVE!!!
he cant do any pitchy stuff wif his voice cuz its accoustic in tis one.da rest of his songs,his voice is amazing.u shud realli take a look at his live performance.and dat 'll change yr mind.
I'd have to agree, but I saw them play the other night and I couldn't even hear the piano over the comotion of the rest of the band. He could have just been there twidling his thumbs and you wouldn't have heard a difference. The band needs to adjust thier amps to highlight the star.
ready...break was the best album but the glass passenger takes a close second they do have a comparable sound everything in transit was almost too pop for me
