My son passed in January of this year. We waited until May to give him a memorial service at his favorite place, the beach. I was able to visit his job in Baltimore and hang out for a few hours were he once sat during his breaks. His coworkers & CEO gave me a beautiful experience. Jack says it all. This song brings me peace.

Right, he's a master plumber, a drywall finisher, an irrigation specialist, and a tier 1 salesman all in one, if trades correlate to musical capabilities... YEs - I have to put Jack at my top 3 for writing which is something. i love that 'what if' fear of who you leave behind. That's really what grief is; is the people we leave. Perfect for the times. Both albums were written at the same time. the contrasting perspectives are brilliant. Him singing Jolene, which is Dolly's - he puts so much passion into the song you don't think about who's singing it; just let it hit you in the chest!

Saw Jack's show in Phoenix on May 28th. It was my hubby, my MIL, and me. The show was incredible, from start to finish. My brother in law was supposed to come too, but his wife wouldn't let him come out to Phoenix. (She was invited but she couldn't get work off). We all agreed he'd go "next time". The following night, his car lit on fire (we don't know how) and he was gone, just like that. So, this new song hits really hard right now. Tell the people you love that you love them right now. You are not guaranteed another tomorrow.

Jack White 😊 music 🎵 is so talented and so was his ex-wife Meg White 😊 I'm happy for all of them and his new wife 😊. And all the children. Jack White is so extremely talented it just blows me away. I love it when he puts the coke bottle in the video this might get loud. I have a lot of admiration for that I liked him in the movie Cold mountain also and I look forward to hopefully a friend of mine and I going to see him in concert. I also like the mountain music 🎵 that he plays. Is white man's soul 🎵 black man's soul music 🎶 anybody's soul music 🎵. I would love to see him play some really really bluesy music like go down to muscle shoals Alabama and get the feeling of the delta 😀 blues. I really hope he goes to muscle shoals Alabama so many artists have gone to muscle shoals and I feel like he would fit in so well 👍 Keep up the good work and I looked up and it's so nice to see that you're Christian. Saw Jack last Saturday 6/4 in Mountain View. Saw the White Stripes twice. This guy has not lost a single step. Fantastic show and Fear the Dawn is his best solo album to date. Can't wait to hear the new stuff. This song is just perfect.

I have seen some parts of shows on youtube and i was thinking it was more... I dont know may be quiet. With less energy than white stripes or raconteurs. I have seen white stripes twice, raconteurs 4 Times, dead weather 2 Times and jack white 3 Times. And i will see him next july. I Hope so much he will be awesome !!! I have to listen this again. Do yourself a favor and make sure you see this man be a rockstar live. Only the very best of the best have a presence that you can feel from hundreds of feet away in a crowd. It's really something, and he has always made it look effortless. Plus by now he's played an unimaginable number of shows around the world in venues huge and, um, I guess a bus? Anyway, with that much experience I'm pretty sure ifhe played in a half full Arby's dumpster, the sound would still be incredible.

It blows my mind how much talent this man has! His concepts and styles have changed branching out into just about every type of music you can name, and he has been consistently on point more so than any other recording artist I can think of. His solo recordings are stunningly timeless. I thought Boarding house reach was such a groundbreaking recording due to the experimental layering of soundscapes he created wondering how he would apply and use what he discovered making that album. Well, Fear of the Dawn gave me the answer to that. It is the best thing this genus has done to date, and from the tracks, I have heard so far from Entering Heaven Alive it might top that record. He is the most talented person in music today bar none!!!!!

I have followed your entire career, and every band I know of you’ve been part of. For an orchestral, melodic tone to be something I like at all is rare, but it does happen. This is, after one listen, by far my favorite song of yours in this vein, and there are some I know off-hand I loved (Carolina Drama, Top Yourself, Martyr for My Love For You, jump out). Great work.

Taking Me Back was the first new track I heard after his epic SNL performance. It was on the radio in my work truck, driving through metro Detroit. First new Jack White on the radio in Michigan for a long minute... It's a song that demands to be played loud. But then I heard the 1930's folk version. It's an entirely different mood, an almost completely different song. What's The Trick is another song that combines a whole number of eras of his music style, like Hi-Di-Ho is just a fun exercise in doing a breakdown. They know how to gaspedal a groove. Because his current band is killing it... If I Die Tomorrow is just another example of an artist whose sound matured just as they did over the years and dozens of records. Jack plays music like a weaver building a tapestry, knowing he can do anything he wants to with sound at this point, and his new music is proving that. They are playing with it on purpose. Sometimes it's a weapon, sometimes it's a melody. But it's well crafted music nonetheless... This song's lyrics are some of the most honest I've heard in a long time. He has always been my favorite artist. I would have love to have meet him at his concert in Tucson this past Friday. I was going to sing “Love Me Tender” by Elvis accapela and ask if I did a good enough rendition if I could get an autographed picture. But ever since my wife passed away from Covid-19 last year her dogs have become like my children and all I could think about was hurrying home to make sure they were ok.

So many synchronicities here, so many reflections, so many comments that could be made... the man, Native American Man- who is he, where have we seen him in the past, who is digging the place for Jack, Jack willingly laying down, with peace, into the Fogou dug for him by a ghost of the land, and, just before he closes his eyes, after the long remembrances of a hard life carried and done with the strength of the love of others, he says "thank you, and I wish to give back all the love to all who gave freely so that I could stand and walk through an impossible life. A life of service, maybe or maybe not, all tasks completed, but as an absolute witness to all things that needed to be seen. Something so heavy that the burden could only be carried with the strength of others love. mjb
