I’m still confused why this was never mainstream. This is a masterpiece.

The real hero here is the bass clarinet player who managed to make it into a Jack White video.

The fact that they were singing "Love Interruption" by Jack White, and the exact lyrics that was sung as Ash saw Lance and Becky were "I want love to change my friends to enemies" ties the whole scene together

i'm late to the party, but better late than never (ever). the dance of the bass clarinet through the chords of this enchanting mix is harmonic and counterpunctual genius. so grateful to have finally fallen by! (i'm 75)

Their voices just blend so well

I just never get tired of this song. Jack White & Ruby Amanfu have an awesome sound when together. The unique quality of her voice, that gravelly vibrato which seems pitched high & low simultaneously, adds amazing texture the the harmonies. I've read the comments that her voice isn't strong enough, and I counter that if her voice were stronger the unique qualities would over power the arrangement and leave unbalanced. This isn't really a duet, it's more like a solo with a haunting refrain echoing within the structure.

Jack white = a beast at any instrument. One of my personal favorite musician. Simply excellent.

I remember being absolutely obsessed with how lyrically impressive this song was when I heard it for the first time when it was released. Jack has always fascinated and intrigued me since I was 10 and heard The White Stripes for the first time in 2003. I think that Blunderbuss is a complete masterpiece of an album - timeless and so lyrically impressive too.

This is one of the most hauntingly beautiful and brutal songs I've ever heard.

Ruby Amanfu is simply lovely. And Blunderbuss remains one of my favorite albums of all time. Such wonderful artistry. Jack is king.

Its about how painful love is, and the bittersweet sensation that is. I think thats why the chorus is saying he won't let it bug him, but the rest of the lyrics he's basically asking love to punish him.

I got into this song while I was in the death throes of my last meaningful relationship. It was doomed from the start, but I took my chances and came up empty. Landed on my face and haven't dated since. I think after almost 2 years it's time to get back out there! These songs are powerful!

I can relate to this song so much, i have the words 'disrupt, corrupt, interrupt' tattooed on the inside of my arm and it's one of my favourites, whenever I feel myself getting close to me, I remind myself of the promise I made to myself when I got that tattoo.

I have been listening to Jack White for years; seen him multiple times with the White Stripes and Raconteurs. Only person I have ever drive more than 1600 miles to see. He is amazing live. He seems to be able to play any instrument and some times multiple instruments at the same time. How the hell do you do that? But what makes him great in my opinion is his lyrics. He writes in so much detail in a few words. It is like character development in a novel. There is so much unsaid but is also so clearly stated. Each song is like a Novella. He is truly one of the best song writers. And then I love that he use to write his receipts for his furniture repair business in crayon. And if you are truly lucky one of those re-upholstererings may have a rare recording inside....

Pardon, my first exposure to this song was from The Voice. The artist JW killed it. I only recently found James White's video. It's incredible to hear and to see. Stellar creativity and musicianship. Thank you, thank you.
