Hi Robin. We have been watching your beautiful videos. You are a wonderful person, the way you care for Jack. We need more people like you! Thank you so much for all you do. Your videos are so special.
Same with me. The Jackdaws I feed are so wary and it's difficult to even get them to come to the food quickly enough before the Starlings take it all. To have a Jackdaw hop comfortably onto your arm and feed like this video is superb to see.
I absolutely love your videos. We had a Jackdaw trying to come in five of our windows this morning. He perched on us and was very talkative. He has gone now but we are hoping he comes back for a visit.
Hi Robin, thanks very much for taking the time to post you're awesome videos of Jack, he is adorable. I have fallen in love with a family of Jackdaw's who live in my chimney, they have even started following me when I go on walks, it's fun and they are so mischievous. I was wondering how you get the jackdaws to trust you and come up to you as mine fly away when I approach them. tanks very much. Alison
You are SO lucky to have a bird friend like him! It's so relaxing watch him eat, such a smart bird. Thank you for sending this video to me, I'm planning to watch all your videos.
I've hand reared a few birds myself, mainly magpies, I had this particular one that used to come to my bedroom window demanding food, if I was to ignore him he would go mad and make a right racket! I don't see him any more, I kinda miss him even though he use to do my head in. Your vids are by far the best ones on YT. So thank you very much, Robin!!
him running along was just so cute. I love the fact that you've given him a choice of food & that his favourites are the biscuits and he dips them. They're such delicate eaters, breaking everything up into little pieces. No one likes the dried mealworms do they? lol
The way he runs after you is just so cute with his little wings out. I love it that you've given him a choice of food. Why do no birds eat the dried mealworms?? biscuits are always better when dipped! They're such delicate eaters which I never expect because their beaks look so big and sharp.
hi Robin, nice vids! wonderful animals... I've heard a radio programme where a nature-lover guy said he found some orphaned nestlings, and talked about their raising - he raised up several jackdaws, but he said every flew away when they become mature, though they visited him regularly. when they were with him, and he was walking in a park, they sometimes disappeared, but he could call them back with a clacking noise he made with his mouth... i think there were more signals for them
No she wasn’t born like that. She came back one day and her leg was very bad.l took her to the vets but they couldn’t help her.so l managed to look after her myself.ldont know how it happened.
