I like that they have finally gotten to fix the top to be flat so you can better stack/pack these things away. I have one from allpowers and I use it all the time.

Yep, a IC-7300 sits rather nicely on the top

I use a Bluetti EB70 which has LiFePo4 batteries as a UPS in my shack to power my radios, 3 monitors, a mini PC, a Raspberry Pi 4 running Hamclock, an FTDX10, a Retevis RT95, etc. and I have a single, folding 200W solar panel array for it in case of commercial power failures (plus I have an Elemax SHX1000 petrol-powered generator.) As a ham friend, DU7JAY, told me in a ragchew one evening, I have Typhoon Odette paranoia. :) I want to make sure I can still communicate if I lose electricity for several days or weeks as I did after that typhoon. The Bluetti will power everything for 6 hours from its batteries and can recharge from solar within a day. The saying goes "two equals one, one equals none" so I have two back-up power solutions.

That nice you got one. The US and UK ones are different. them are very popular with RV and campers . I see them all the time at camp cites in the US. some bad on RF noise. I got a T 240-31 choke I made for Mains power. got mail and female plugs on it. works pretty good on noisy inverters. plug filter right in power station. love the bright orange cords. The US ones that way as well. I got the Anker one. that has USB C in and out. makes some RFI . the 12V is only 10 amps as most of them. great for quick on the go power. Anker uses LiFePO4 battery on the one I have. 73's

I’ll be trialling a Bluetti AC180 for work shortly so will see how it compares to this.

Interesting video considering I run off-grid at one of my QTHs, and have also just put together a portable power set-up. There's no denying that this is a convenient turnkey solution. A few things I noticed; - Lithium ion chemistry as opposed to LiFePO4 - Battery native voltage is 43.2V so there is voltage conversion (switchmode I guess) when using direct 12V out - There did appear to be some "birdies" on 10m, I didn't check the other bands but would suspect they are also there - It would be interesting to check interference while solar charging, I have a few Victron MPPT's and they can introduce some noise Great review! (as usual!)

Thanks mate. Yes there would be some voltage conversion. I ran my 705 out of the 12V plug and I could see noise only on the AM band with a small whip connected to the radio... I didn't test with a proper antenna yet. I plugged the solar panel in at one stage during afternoon sun getting 80W of charge and didn't notice any change in any spurs or interference - that was on the 10m band too.

To see RF noise use a tinysa with the little whip antenna it comes with. Place it near by. Set it to max hold and leave it a few minutes. Compare when it's on vs when it's off.

Do any of these things have a way to store the accessory cables? A small compartment should be easy.

Only the bag that comes with it.

That’s absurdly expensive. You could build an equivalent system for like $500.
