In this video, I show you how to select a good jackfruit when you buy one from a market and how to process it. I hope you like the video; please like and subscribe.
Thank you for the video! My daughters are vegetarian, and I don’t really want to buy all the over processed fake meat… We tried a jackfruit ‘pulled pork’ and it was amazing!
Thanks I purely use jackfruit to make red chili porkless tamales vegan. I've only used the jackfruit in the can in water, but want to try with fresh jackfruit.
I never had a jackfruit I tried for the first time I like it but it's expensive. I got one on Publix I pay 129 a pound and it was a pound to spend it but that's pretty good 😋 thank you for your video 😋
Ok I spent $19.99 for one it had NO sap and seemed all tan and dried out?! It seemed bad so I threw it all out. Do u think itwas bad? And the out side had a soft spot.
@@2hcombo216 thank you so much for replying !! It was bad after all. It was waaaay over ripe, and the people who sold it to me told me it wasn’t ripe yet. They lied!
