Now I understand what was the fight about. The eagle claw group wanted to destroy the snake fist. The snake fist technique is not strong enough to defeat the eagle claw, that is why the old wanted to escape. Luckily enough Jackie discovered the cat clow technique and combined it with the snake fist, they able to defeat the eagle claw.

This was one of my grandpa's favourite,he would always rush to watch this movie whenever it appears on the tv ,sadly he passed away few years back 😥,this movie reminds me of him 😥.
The old man was Grandmaster Yuen Siu-tien (1912-1979) who was one of the greatest martial artists of his time. His 6 sons are skilled in martial arts too & hold professional roles as actors/action directors in the movie industry in Hong Kong. The eldest son, Yuen Woo-ping was also involved in some Hollywood productions. Woo-ping worked with Sammo Hung, Yuen Biao, Donnie Yen, Jet Li & Michelle Yeoh before. Donnie Yen was also a disciple of Woo-ping.
When I was a child living in Jamaica , we had school show in Lucea that we call matinee. After the karate movie finished on our way home we would kicked down every banana tree😂😂😂

Hicieron historia con estos clásicos del kung fu.
