Its because they are easy to do. You can see some other actors in his movies doing the same thing. Like Lucas Till(he played Macgyver in the remake) copied his moves perfectly when he was in that movie where Jackie Chan played an agent who was looking after some kids.(I forgot its name) .
@@sassuki This has nothing on Jackie's classic movies. What so great about Jackie's classic movies is that the fight scene is ONE long single take without cut in between, making the fights look more organic and impressive. Meanwhile fight scenes in modern Hollywood movies and shows are stitching hundreds of of 1-2 second shots (and from different angles!) together, making it uncomfortable for the eyes to watch.
@@MarineRX179 Stop with that single take myth. Older martial arts movies did have longer sequences between camera angle changes, nut none of them were really ever single takes for whole scenes.
@@harimakenji7608 Personally my favorites are old Shaw Brothers films. Five Deadly Venoms, Invincible Shaolin, 36th Chamber of Shaolin, they all had far better fight choreography than any movie made in the last 30 years.
Jackie Chan has been risking his life and giving it to us fans since most of us were little kids. He’s one of a kind. The fact that he’s still doing this at 70 some odd years old goes against science and logic. I hope Jackie lives forever man.
That's true, just the fact he does any of the fighting at all but you got to realize there are multiple cuts and stuntman doing the flips and falls for Him.
All these years later and Jackie Chan is still able to perform insane fight scenes. I never thought he would hold his own like that against John Cena of all people that's unbelievable. Long live Mr. Chan. EDIT: Oh my god that's the most likes I've gotten on a comment.
@@markdavenportjr5129True, I mean look at Tom Cruise. And a scene isn’t shot all at once. There’s lots of breaks in between so all he has to do is perform like one or two moves at a time
Hahaha, who isn't a Jackie chan fan. He probably grew up watching Jackie movies just like everyone else. Jackie is like 70 years old(!) In this scene. Cena is like 30-40.
this is his best fight scene he's done for a while, since his fight scenes from cz12. It's truly amazing he's still able to do these fight scenes at his age.
What connection to each other do andre and john have? Jackie and bruce were at least on the same movie set together and interacted with each other. My point being... why would andre be proud of john?
@@thisnewnamesystemisdumb because he represents WWE and what it stands for. Jackie represents Martial arts and commitment to the art of it, which Bruce is master of.
"You killed my people!" "I didn't kill anyone!" "Yes you did!" Great comeback. 10 out of 10. I love Jackie lmao 😂😂 I love how all the fighting was completely unnecessary and they could have just talked like normal people. Cena and Jackie spent the whole scene fighting and attempting to kill each other whilst blaming others for killing people. It's just funny.
@@KDB349 See, your Kung Fu is not always you doing physical Kung Fu. Possessing Kung Fu is a way to say that this is how you do things. It is your groove, your funk, your zone, your swag. You are performing Kung Fu when you are doing something that you're at your very best mentally and / or physically. You do not have to know Kung Fu to possess Kung Fu. For some it may be cooking, for some it might be computer hacking, or even just being a world class bartender, welder, blacksmith, or coffee barista. That's why Jackie Chan's Kung Fu isn't necessarily doing Kung Fu but the care in his choreography, witty banter, and his comedic timing. I hope you take my earlier meaning when I said; "That's his Kung Fu..."
He's almost 70 years old and still can move like this?😮 I have a feeling it won't be a big problem for him when he will do another Rush Hour movie. Great work sir Jackie Chan.
Not implying Cena would win but he ain’t in his prime either. Yes Cena has an advantage here due to age but it’d be interesting to see them at their best.
I remember seeing the karate kid movie with jaden smith and worrying that Jackie Chan was getting old but even in old age now he’s still as great as he was. Truly a living legend
@@itzstillhill42 Yes me too when he was younger he did all of his stunts but he is just human, but for his age he is in very good form and have a good flexibility.
@@trunksx2497 martial arts translates to the art of fighting, wrestling is a fighting style. Nowadays it’s mostly recognized as a sport, specifically a combat sport. The key word is combat. And the moves can and have been used in real fights.
Not only is Jackie Chan a great champion he is an amazing stunt man.. on video Jackie admitted bruce lee would beat him in a real fight!! So modest he is!! ....♾️✅✅♾️
Jackie is in his mid 60s here and still making incredible fight scenes..A true action Legend..of course because of his age he uses a stunt double but 95 percent of this fight is actually him
damn, I love how they play to what they are good at, John Cena as a wrestler with his strength and Jackie Chan as a martial arts master with his agility.
seeing jackie in fight scenes now just doesn't have the same wow factor anymore if anymore im more concerned for his wellbeing seeing him in fight scenes now.
Jackie Chan 70 yrs legend still doing it , I been watching Jackie since the drunken master, and he haven’t let me down yet one the greatest grand Master to ever do hands down 👏🏾✊🏾✌🏾
Jackie still proving that age is just a number. At this age he jumps, rolling, fast foot work to escape from the opponent. i wont believe that he is nearly 70. Wow what a man "The Legend of the stunt" by himself he made it. We are lucky to born in his History.
A martial arts legend, against a muscle mountain. Even though it's choreographed and there are definitely ropes involved, I still think it's impressive Eine Kampfkunstlegende, gegen einen Muskelberg. Auch wenn es choreografiert ist und eindeutig Seile im Spiel sind, ich finds trotzdem beeindruckend
Fun Fact: Jackie Chan got Obi-Wan Kenobi to teach him how to use the force in order to lift himself in the air to make the stunt at 1:05 look as authentic as possible. Unfortunately Jackie had to go to the hospital due to the shear stress applied to his abdomen causing him to get mild diarrhoea. Mad Respect to Jackie.
Ip Man 2 and 3 had Donnie Yen vs boxers (one being Mike Tyson) and wrestler Dave Bautista. It's always fun to see different styles of fighting go up against each other. I mean, that's basically what Street Fighter is. The games, not the movie lol
I know Jackie Chan can’t do a lot of insane stuff he used to be able to do when he was younger, but he’s still damn talented for his age and it’s really refreshing to see one of his more modern movies show that off again. And John Cena was great too, he didn’t try to hold back cause Jackie’s older
I don't know about the best fight ever but probably the best fight of the movie. I really enjoyed this movie I think it could have had a better villain. Maybe with a cool end fight. it did have that fun fly with the bungee cords towards the end.
Simplesmente incrível 🥰❤️❤️❤️ me amarro nos filmes do Jack Chan, assisto seus filmes desde criança e hoje ver uma cena dessas já adulto é satisfatório demais
Nice of Mr. Chan to allow Mr. Cena to actually look like he can defeat him. No way in the world would Cena ever come close to defeating Chan in a real fight.
Man Jackie Chan is Nearly 70 and he is Fighting John Cena, Literally JOHN CENA... One of the Greatest Fighter in WWE, Maybe even the Best. Hoping for Jackie Chan to have a Long Life😁 Hes my Favorite ever since I was 10.
