Ten years later, this is still magical to me.

I think this is as close to an angel as you can get without being in heaven.

Nobody, absolutely nobody!, can sing this song better than Jackie at age 10, that day she was more than a simple human being, she was blessed by the hand of the same divine creator.

Almost 13 years later.... It's still wonderful. Jackie is all grown-up now, and you should listen to her today. She's wonderfully charming and lovely.

I took my mother to see her perform live. This was years ago (2010), tickets were $120 each. The stage and costume set up and colors were the exact same. She sounded like an absolute angel dressed in that dazzling lilac. Money well spent. So glad I found this video. What wonderful memories to reminisce, and hear that angelic voice again!!🎉

With all due respect to Sarah Brightman(who was the first to sing this piece), Jackie Evancho will always be the definitive interpreter of Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Pie Jesu" as far as I'm concerned.

Still the best performance on AGT ever.

That is simply the most beautiful performance I have ever seen. Even the angels must have stood up and applauded when this child finished. She is truly a treasure to be cherished.

Can you imagine being her parents watching from the wings, seeing and hearing the crowd stand up and cheer at the end? They must have been so proud.

I am sure this is the best delivery of this song I have heard! The technical excellence and sound quality is amazing for a ten year old.

She is not fake...I went to see her in Buffalo NY a few yrs ago near Christmas time. She was amazing!!! It was the best birthday and anniversary present I ever got...tickets to go see her live!!!

There will NEVER be another. One of the greatest voices I have ever heard. At 10 years old. I watched this and am still a fan.

It isn't abuse at all. Jacke has stated many, many times that her mother asked her if she wanted to inter contests and she said she did. She had a lovely voice while very young and has practiced a lot. The more you use your vocal cords the thicker they become and the more mature they sound.

She was one of my biggest inspirations and still is. She's the reason I started singing and I have never been more happy. One day I will meet her and thank her for everything. She's beautiful, extremely talented and of course very kind and modest. I love you Jackie🌹

This was my first exposure to Jackie Evancho - a recommendation on an Hayley Westenra version of this (superb, too). Almost didn't bother as most such recommendations turn out to be a severe disappointment. So glad I did. Was absolutely staggered at Jackie's singing. To miss this would have been a disaster. Frequently return to this (and all her songs) and it never gets old.She is so blessed to have such a wonderful talent, along with an equally wonderful personality.

I had watched young Jackie and there is no reason she did not win this season ten years ago. Clearly her voice was and is above and beyond the heavens. Like a messenger from God, and how they did not let her win is beyond me. She sang like an angel, and I think she is an angel from heaven to be honest. Where does that voice reside? Inside her, but you cannot put your finger on it. Bravo to her and I still love you Jackie.

Flawless. As one can see, the audience was transfixed... and so was I.

It's hard to explain, but Jackie's voice always fills me with peace and serenity...regardless of what she sings. And now, when she is nearing the age of 20, that quality is still there, along with the maturity and power and character that come from 10 additional years of development. One of the great mysteries of the universe is why this young lady has not yet attracted the widespread acclaim that she deserves.

Gods, this is amazing... I just saw the show a week ago, it was aired in my country just this year, but i was stunned really...

She was, and still is, an Angel. How could anyone not love her? Her talent is simply... otherworldly. Magical. This performance brought tears to my eyes. It was absolutely incredible.

Jackie Evanco sang that song with perfection and Her Angelic Appearance and Style. She sang as an Angel from the heart. Nothing beats that as far as Im concerned 🎉

After listening 300+ times, I still claim that this is a perfect performance. There is no way to make it better. It is The Ideal all artists should strive for.

Her family is a role model for families. Supportive of each other. Grounded religiously. An emphasis on self-discipline and the creative arts. The love for each other and the pride among them for the talents of each other is apparent. Parents who behave like parents and not friends. The inclusion of siblings to experience the benefits of travel. No one treated more special than the other. Loyalty to their community. A reasonable allowance. Their generosity and fund-raising for causes.

i actually LOVE her voice.. compared to the most accomplished sopranos out there right now... i Loooooove her interpretation , her voice, it could be my favorite version. Be well, Jackie :).

Never in my 48 years of life has no one ever made me cry with there voice, until I heard this ANGEL sing. Jackie sings and her voice goes right to the human soul, and you can feel GOD'S LOVE, that is the only way I can explain it. What a gift to mankind.
