Jackie Evancho and Sharon den Adel.... TWO TOP ANGEL VOICES. I WAS A SLIGHT BIT CONNECTED WITH TEAM EVANCHO, back in the day. Convinced her mom to put MEMORIES (Within Temptation) on her AWAKENING album.
Shakes, she had just turned 11 less than a week before on her "dream with Me" concert. You are right that her Classical Crossover work is as good, and actually even better as she matures. She now likes any number of genres and has different voices to match the needs of the song. You will here a much wider variety over time, especially after age 18 when she became a legal adult. I think she gives up some of the advantage she has over other singers the closer she gets to Pop. As you can hear, her Classical Crossover voice is still fantastic. She can sing in "CC", "ballad" "Broadway" and has voices for her various "message" songs.

She is absolutely amazing, I was more talking about the mass messages I get of others stating she has lost her high and she sounds better as a kid. I think she is phenomenal!!
I see that Jack is wearing a dress where the skirt is 40 feet in diameter. Just your casual summer frock. Her high notes are truly beautiful. They stand out because she can hit a high note without the 'cutting edge' many others put out on their top notes. WHY? because her performance highs aren't anywhere near the real top of her range, which is nearly a half octave higher. Soprano highs typically 'grind' my crowns BECAUSE of the forcing of a voice. Jackie doesn't really push that hard on her highs or even go that high. It is in her knowledge of what people appreciate. Her next performance of "A Million Dreams" on China's "World's Got Talent" one week later is from her "Debut" album which is [as they ALL are] a stupendous creation.
Last fall, she ( Jackie) released a Joni Mitchell tribute album.... VERY WELL SUNG, WITH HER CLEAN PITCH PERFECT VOCALS. Many of Joni's lesser known tracks. Worth reacting to.
Don't be ridiculous or disrespectful. Jackie's fans don't jump on Amira's videos and criticize her. Jackie has had much more success for a reason, but Amira is also a very good singer and seems to be a sweet person. Did you know Jackie was Amira's inspiration to sing classical crossover music? Amira and Jackie both top notch. Each on their own. Can you imagine a concert with the two of them together. I am sure each would appreciate the other. They would have that kind of respect.

EVANCHO NEVER LOST skills along her was, just abandoned by the big MILKER lables, and side distractions in her family situation... also, an early victim of leftist cancel culture creeps.
She gave 8 outstanding performances as "Kitty" covering pop, country, pop ballads, Broadway and jazz. By all accounts she became the most popular performer with the TV/RU-vid audience (higher view count and likes than the finalists) though she finished 5th out of 18 celebrities in the quarter finals. She was 19 at the time the show was filmed in February/March, 2020,
@@cl9786 I never thought her voice was that outstandingas Kitty because she was hiding with pop tunes, but I was VERY very impressed with her showmanship, especially in the breadth of her first three appearances.

She is actually quite a showman, having dazzled the audience, the judges and her fans as the burlesque Kitty with her "sensuality" as guest judge Gordon Ramsey described "the way she moves" while singing Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend.
She dumped Sony not the other way around so she could do her own thing on the "Debut" album. Sony was more than happy to keep Classical Jackie, she just didn't want it anymore.

She gained an octave as she got older. She only lost her youth. Mentioning her and Angelina Jordan in the same catagory is an insult to Jackie. Not even on the same planet.
They ARE two different styles, but Angelina DOES have a unique and attractive style and voice. CLEARLY very different, and that works for me. [Jack's my fav]. As far as her PERFORMANCE voice, she gained from A5 to B5, and a bit more than that in her practice range, Her PRACTICE range, while more than 3 octaves is NOT what she records with. She is one soprano who can and WILL sing her sustained high note softly and smoothly and without any strain which is VERY unusual. Many singers mistakenly PUSH their top note in order to hit it which makes it shrill. Jackie doesn't go anywhere near her top note and therefore, does not have to "strangle" herself to hit it.
