How is that infamous humidity?

In the higher elevations, like where she bought, the humidity is fine. Elevation is the key. It's like living anywhere else in the mountains. So many want to live by the ocean, but it is very hot, often 90F+ degrees, and often humid if there's not a good breeze. I'd rather live in the mountains and visit the ocean.

Great interview! Thank you for sharing! It would be nice to hear the price range for a house like yours and your thoughts on the chance of finding a place like yours. It looks like a lovely situation, however it looks like it's a relatively long drive for some people to Las Tablas, Chitre or a larger place like David. Thank you again for sharing!

From Jackie. I paid less than $180,000 with a house and 6 hectacres (14 acres) It's actually divided into 4 properties (titled, of course). There's a road and two other flattened areas for building spots. I did bump out the back of the house to add two bedrooms. It was a studio when I bought it. Also added a well and a deposito since buying it.

She got a Pensionado visa

@@roundpaws You don't have to be old for that pensionado visa, you can be as young as 18. Some live off a trust fund, others military pensions, being a nurse she probably has a good retirement from the hospital she worked at for 20 years. I get your point though, I think coming from America your mind would never associate young face with a Senior. 🙂

Wonderful! I have thought about raising goats before, Are there many ex-pats doing it? Is it difficult? I would love to see a video just about raising goats in Panama!
