27:17 - 27:20 Best Sinhala quote for these times; "අන්ධකාරය බැන බැන ඉන්නේ නැතුව පහනක් දල්වමු " Thoroughly enjoyed this series!! Thank you Jackson Sir! Watched all 16 episodes!! I believe I am a කළුසුද්දා too but that is just how we are here in Colombo.
Dear Sir, With full of respect, very informative and productive presentation however I felt that you did a little mistake when you were entering to Australia at the immigration. Love you and your family. God bless you and stay safe.
Thank you Jackson. Really appreciate your effort to remind who we were ..are ... and will be. In the so called modern world concept, this topic could be a no-brainer but your commitment, knowledge and analysis sparks many for sure. Wish you the strength and courage to continue your mission. God bless you.
Yet again you delivered some very useful information. I totally agree. in Sri Lankan media the way some presenters use our language is absolutely cringe worthy. Thank you for trying to open our eyes to this on going tragedy we face with our own language
I watched all 16 and learned a lot. Thank you. European countries teach their young children in mother tongue because it improves creativity and ability to understand complex topics. Parents are foolish to talk to their children in English when they are learning to talk. I am a living example that talking in Sinhala to children by any means does not reduce their ability to be fluent later in life when it is essential. It’s more important to develop neural connections by talking in mother tongue.
