Yeah, North Side sucked. But the old quarantine REALLY sucked ass! Making earplugs from the mattress stuffing helped A LOT w/blocking out the noise. That was the worst for me, the insane noise level! I even enjoyed being on the yard crew & shoveling snow that winter. And the single cells. Jackson Prison is THE BIGGEST active walled prison in the world. A helluva lot of history there. That place was like a small town behind the walls before they sectioned everything off. Everything was wide open inside. But, that was a long time ago & I'm off paper & living back home in Baltimore, Maryland, where I'm from. Just taking a little stroll down memory lane. Peace. ✌😎
@@bingobango170 Pretty Terrible. Not gonna lie. Living conditions break the privileged offenders. I've seen decent dudes get torn apart by others. If you dont know anyone you're fucked unless you are an expert at intimidation. Smh. We all however have to pay our debts to society. Whatever is just that is. R Dad decided to drink himself to death, as soon as he got off parole. 😕 (that was in 2015) My oldest Brother been trying to stay outta trouble tho. You couldn't wait till to got out of north block reception to get to 7 block. Anybody that was there , including me, could not wait for that move lol, Moving from north block to 7 block was like feeling the Jeffersons, movin on up. lol
At my friends house you can sit and listen for this prison's PA speakers to come on and order the prisoners around. There are some woods separating his home from the prison so it can get kinda creepy.
