Thanks for all of the comparisons, walkthrough and review of the SuperNova! I have a SuperNova on preorder that should arrive in Aug/Sept. I am currently 193lb fully outfitted but may be around 180lb when the SuperNova arrives. Do you think the Nova would be a better boat at 180lb even though the SuperNova's range is 145-250lb? I mainly plan on using it at Upper Green, Nantahala, FB9 and USNWC for river running but would also like to take advantage of it's play abilities.
Tough call I like the nova on some runs and the super on others you will really need to try both because with a full slice there is no really good way to answer
I’m mainly play boating and I own a big creek for the scary stuff (rarely used). But, I want a full slice to improve my flat water cartwheels have a fun boat for small rivers and wave surfing on a river. Sort of torn between these two (mixmaster 2.0 and supernova) I’m 6’ with long legs and 190 lb. What’s your thoughts?
You are in that same spot as me between the nova and supernova if you want throw down machine that lakes river running go nova and if want more of a river runner player that takes more muscle go super nova and you will be on the pain side of the Mixmaster it's a small boat. coloradokayak.com/products/dagger-nova-whitewater-kayak?ref=wade
