JFRD responded to an older large house fire in which the owners did not live at that house. The house was heavily involved with fire upon arrival and crews mad an aggressive interior attack immediately. This was a two story home, the heat and fire kept crews from being able to advance on it...command called everyone out and asked for a second alarm assignment to be able to fight the fire effectively and protect nearby exposures at the same time.

There were no injuries at this fire, the house was severely damaged and the cause is under investigation.
