This video was taken on the afternoon of Wednesday, February 9th. Starting at Jaco's main intersection downtown, we walk along Avenida Pastor Diaz, Jaco's busiest street. Wednesday is typically Jaco's quietest day of the week, but there is quite a bit of traffic these days as we are in high season. This particular day was very hot but there were a lot of tourists and locals out.

I call Jaco My least favorite city or town in Costa Rica, but it is still a great place to be. This video has been edited to eliminate The massage parlors all along this street. At about the 11 minute 9 second mark I noticed one of my dependents while stay there. The homeless guy standing next to the motorcycle. Jaco has great beaches and surf. Pura vida.

Thanks for watching and for your comment. I do my best to show Jaco for what it is, and any edits in this video were only for technical reasons (loud noise playing in the background). The 1 block or so that is missing at around 11 mins is one of those cases, but is an area that has been filmed in several other videos on this channel. Jaco has it's 'moments' but it's actually pretty low key on a Wednesday afternoon.

I must add that I feel safe in Jaco and Would recommend staying at Boutique hotel Ibiza. Centrally located a 1/2 a block from the beach and a 1/2 a block from the Main Street. A great bargain With excellent staff And a nice restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Looking forward to more videos

Jaco probably has the most mixed crowd in the country. Been that way for a very long time. There are still lots of nationals but also people from just about everywhere visiting or living here Keep in mind the number 1 industry is tourism and even a lot of ticos in Jaco aren't originally from the area. Also this video is mainly shot in a part of town with more tourists, and at a time when a lot of locals are working
