So this is what getting high in music feels like and I'm loving it.

I've heard music before, but I never knew this was an option.

It's not even just the music. The collaboration with the crowd. The light choreography. This is such a performance.

What I love about him is his sheer creativity and fearlessness. He sticks to music rules without being held prisoner by them. Exuberance and freedom - the whole package stretches boundaries until he climbs out of the box. I’m 75 and he is the same age as my grandson, who , when he was three, I encouraged him to express himself on the piano and interpret the story I was telling him, with sound..... which he did without ever having had a lesson - pure instinct.

Manager: "Ok Jacob, what do we need for the concert in Toronto?" Jacob: "I need two guys, one for drums one for bass, also a lady who sings in the background sometimes but not all the time, and for myself I will need a piano, an harmonizer, another drum set, a whole arrangement of percussions, upright bass, electric bass guitar, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, a couple hundred ukuleles and this rock I found on the street that makes a cool G half Sharp sound" Manager "aight anything else?" Jacob: "Yea of course that's just for one song"

So apparently they only sell tickets to people that sings in tune

This kid is a once in a generation genius

Not a smug bone in this kid's body. Pure love for his talent and what is turning out to be infinite musical ability.

Obviously the percussion in the end is amazing, but can we also give some credit to the bass and synth players who kept up with that crazy ass rhythm?

Jacob got bored playing instruments so now he just plays the audience.

This is insane. The energy this guy has on stage is second to none. Let alone the fact that his writing is layered and deep, his music inspiring and he just made the audience sing a flawless Harmony in less than ten seconds.

That's a great band he's got there. Maro adds just enough to support his vocals and they can all keep up with his insane rhythm/harmony antics.

It's like if Mr. Bungle, Dream Theater, King Crimson, and a DJ were combined in a particle accelerator. And it's wonderful.

The level of coordination needed across individuals, instruments, the CROWD... my mind can't process how this is possible. Truly incredible.

Honestly, I didn't know how to feel anymore at some point. I felt so much joy listening to this and at the same time I just wanted to cry. It so beautiful to see this beautyfull energy, it's just overwhelming!!! It makes me feel so small but it's also kinda comforting. I've never felt this way watching a video on RU-vid. Jacob is a Musician for musicians. To enjoy his music you must know music theory then still realise you don't understand 3/4 of what you are hearing. But at least you know you don't get it so you decide to just enjoy it and marvel at this prodigy!
