It is a lot more beautiful than a Staccato for sure. I always hated the STI/Staccato uses polymer grips and trigger. The only thing I would change on the TWC is the trigger should be skeletonized
Lucky enough to just have found one. Oh I thought I liked my CZ Shadow 2. Not anymore move over Jacob Greys got my attention in a big kind of way. Worth every damn dime 👍
The "smooth" area on the grip actually feels like some kind of micro texture. Almost like 1000 grit sandpaper. It actually does stay very secure in your hand.
Exactly great explanation it's pretty much a non-issue I think people just want to drive or try and pick things apart visually but practically it's a non-issue
@@EverythingorNothing agreed. I have had a few diehard Staccato fans dogging the smooth grip but I will take a metal grip over plastic anyday. Not to mention the TWC 9 grip looks 10 times better than a Staccato.
@@matt-ts8cx most agreed and of course staccato owners will be a tad bit critical. I picked up the TWC 3 days ago I've already been to the range twice. I can't wait to see what else Jacob gray has coming out. Beyond impressed.
@@matt-ts8cx smart man you find one of these things snack it up because they are not easy to find. Hit me up here and let me know what you think as well but everything that I experienced with something heavenly Man and was worth every bit of that 2,399. Price
@@Greenmachine305they can, but there is a problem. See about 75% or more people just look at guns and post pictures,, the other 25% or less actually shoot them. Guns are for shooting, not for looking. See what I am saying.
Don’t have a staccato p but I do have a c2 and recently picked up this twc. I just got through 250 rds and I love this more than the c2. No issues with the grip. It’s a lot grippier than one might expect. Never shot the p tho.
I'm on the same journey as you and I couldn't agree more. Even though I have a couple different models of the Shadow to of course this bad boy is going to outshine.
How accurate is it? I have a cz S2C and that is an ACCURATE compact pistol and find it hard to buy a pistol that cost more if it’s not as accurate. So just curious
I love the S2C, and indeed it's an accurate gun but the difference between the two won't be accuracy. You're either a Shadow guy or 2011 guy. The grip and ergos are extremely different. Build quality isn't close. The TWC is a more polished gun, hence the price difference. That said, I'm more of a CZ guy myself when it comes to shootability and accuracy. I just appreciate the quality and design of a double-stack 1911. If I was forced to own only one, I'd pick the CZ. But I would hate the world if I couldn't have both 😜.
@@EchoDelta2A It's doubtful I will buy one. Right now I'm enjoying my Sig P226 XFive Legion. I've had several $3,000 to $4,000 pistols that were not as good. It really is phenomenal.
@@EchoDelta2A My humble opinion, you can compare it to the CS or Bul Armory SAS. The TWC is definitely a good pistol. Now, the Agency Arms Sage Dynamic Glock 45 comp is something people almost never talks about and it would give a lot of those 2011s a run for their money… and that’s coming from someone that swear by 2011s
It’s a nice 2011, but it’s too expensive. It’s the same prices as Tocado 2520 $803,000. No that’s too much. I’d rather get a bull armory or a Springfield prodigy
😂. Love that analogy. TBH, I didn't have the greatest of experiences with the JG. Extractor was shit from the get go. That said, it was an easy fix and it's a beautiful gun. I'd still buy one again, and I still prefer the aluminum grip over the polymer one of a Staccato.
@@EchoDelta2A Yeah, I'm kind of on the fence between this and the Staccato CS. I have the C2 and love it, but in the interest of diversity, I thought I would research this pistol.
To be honest, I still think the Staccatos are more full proof. If you're thinking of carrying, I wouldn't even think twice. Staccato all day. The JG is a great work in progress but needs some fine tuning and more in house manufacturing. They use a lot of small parts that aren't turned to their gun.
People do not think. Do not carry an expensive gun. If you were to pull and fire to protect yourself or someone else the police would confiscate your gun for evidence. If you are found liable you lose the gun. If you commit a crime during, lets say jaywalking, you lose the pistol. Even if you are cleared you must petition the DA or police to have your property returned.
I agree, but what's "expensive" is subjective. $2,500 may be peanuts to some but may sound expensive to you or me. Hell, $500 may sound expensive to either of us. It all comes down to what you define as "expensive."
I disagree I want the best weapon I can have when my life is on the line - that’s why my EDC options are customized - stippled, decent optics, brass backstrap, etc. If I have to use it then keeping it will be the least of my worries If it’s justified I’ll get it back
Ya so in the 1/1,000,000 chance that this actually happens.... you want to have your cheap gun. This logis is so childish. Last thing you'll care about is what gun you loose when you're still alive after using it. Get outta here
