Yair Avidor plays his own transcription for theorbo of 'La Forqueray" by Jacques Duphly (1715-1789). This fine piece, so full of grandeur, is taken from Duphly's Troisième livre de pièces de clavecin published in Paris in 1756.

Incredible technique and sound as always with you…! Bravo ! You’re such an inspiration….! Do you have printed version of your adaptations for theorbo that you would be ready to sell ? A question regarding your gut strings : what brand do you use and what strings tension ? Merci for your time answering.
Yair, thanks for your answer. You mean you use unsplit gut strings for all strings ? Your basses sound amazing. I’m using HL Aquila gut strings and the sound is very different…Will try these
Please Yair post your great work on spotify. I think you could earn some money with listeners like me. I prefer your lute version of '' La forqueray '' than 10 harpsichord versions in spotify. Your lute version is so wonderfull 💖
It is a tribute to Forqueray or a musical portrait of him (most likely of Jean- Baptiste). This was quite common in France at the time; There is an allemande by Couperin entitled 'la Forqueray', and also 'la Couperin' by Forqueray!
