I totally disagree with the part being written for oboe. The part is way flutistic but it seems that this group preferred to risk themselves playing it with an oboe (and perverting the original score, btw)
@@alazeta0al9 Well, about "perverting" the original score.... from what I've gathered Oboists don't just hop over to Flute like it's nothing. Oboists and Bassoonists even don't jump between each other's instruments even though they are way more similar (both being double-reed instruments). What probably happened was that there was a group of musicians that played and worked very well with each other, they found this piece, but there happened to be an Oboist instead of 2 Flautists.
