The dog being so calm I think speaks volumes to the vibe Drew and her team set in the room. Animals usually seem at least a little bit anxious when appearing on a talk show. But he's comfortable to close his eyes, approach guests in the front row, lick his paws even during loud clapping. Makes me want to go to a show!
Honestly Drew you have to stop being so touchy feely with your guests. Your so close she's literally leaning back away from you. It feels like your crowding her. I adore you and love you to death but seriously Sweetie back off a bit.
That’s awesome. My fav part was when you asked her about Red Table Talk and great question btw! Her answer too was so cool. I feel like RTT would be my show if I was in her position, and I relate strongly to that teacherly, self-demonstrative impulse. What a nice quality in her :) Shocking that she can get away with it actually but it’s masterfully executed for accomplishing it as a deep talk kinda atmosphere.
Don't be weird. She's a talented actress and award winning host with a good book out. The whole world should not care to dislike her because she has said some relationships quotes you don't like as her husband and family still stands by what she's said anyway. Be well

This completely changed my view on Jada Smith. I'm very thankful for this interview. (And at the same time dissapointed in myself for judging her without knowing her story as a whole.)
This is nearly 100% true for human beings in general: behaviour is a result of previous experiences. It does not make the behaviour right (!), however it may contribute to some understanding why they act the way they do. Judging other people without knowing their circumstances is unfortunately also a human trait in general. We all have our lifetimes to learn to know better, right?!😌

I disagree. I think her neediness and desperation to be wanted and loved can be toxic. Too much of anything is toxic. It isn’t good. She needs to seek help outside of her show and not use her show as a “please help me heal” platform. As Dolly said in her interview yesterday, some things should be private. At this time and age she should choose to make some parts of her existence private. For her but also for her children. Too much of anything isn’t good.

If you watch interviews she did in the 90s, she was the same way. She would be criss cross or she would have her knees pulled up to her chest in the chair, and she leaned in to the conversation. It's just who she is. She's been true to who she is since her 20s. She's real and she's a treasure!
I wasn’t a fan of Jada but after reading her book which is brilliant by the way I have a completely different view of her now and really understand and appreciate her journey for the person she is. A survivor a mother a wife an actress and someone who owns her own mistakes and flaws🥰

Everyone is blaming Jada, but that woman did absolutely nothing except give a look of disappointment about what Chris was saying.
