What’s crazy is in the interview, they said they decided to do that during sound check. They tried it during sound check, and Kiss knew all the words so decided to add it. That means that after 10 years, dude was able to remember it word for word and then spit it live in front of cameras. Crazy how much talent that is
@@dajumpoff08it is impressive. I’ve watched old Elvis performances and they’re great but he forgets the words quite often. He did over 1000 songs so maybe it’s understandable and most of them were other peoples songs that he did better!
That line "Black Mamba of the vocals, MJ of the pro tools" kills me every time, you gotta think at the end of the day Jada will be remembered as one of the very best NYC has ever given us.
@@micheledaly5823Yo technically is Wesrtchester but so close to the Bronx that we claim that. You can keep the rest of Westchester though. That’s Upstate!
@@Rangerfan11 You can't claim what's not yours. Read that again. 914 is what he's repping cause that's where he's from. Out here with that BS. He was born and raised in YO so knock it off with the he is now. Yonkers is not upstate and neither is Westchester. It literally borders NYC. We don't want NYC to claim us. We good.
Actually 50 did want it with him. Which is why he went at him. Now Jada does the bar for bar better of course but 50 didn't lose to him because he was just bigger. And he held himself down. Took them shots and kept going. They obviously respect each other because they squashed it and worked on multiple records together.
@@Casanovaelrey NO, actually after 50 and him made song at each other, Then Jadakiss challenged 50 Cent to an onstage battle in Madison Square Garden for 1 million dollars, but 50 Cent declined. So again, he aint want it with Jada. Its easy to just talk your shit on a track, but not as easy as going in front of people and spittin.
@@kush8071 your name lacks education just like you and your family 😎 u only said my name was lame cuz u know it's hard asf. Sorry I hurt your boyfriends feelings 😘😘😘 Lol hold this L

Yo! I’m a true lox fan and had never heard this. I was impressed. I thought he wrote this for the verzus. Now more impressed that it was 10 years old and aged very well. Lyrics equal longevity and fire is fire regardless of the year
@@LongLoxx82 more than likely, I heard it and forgot it. I’m 40+ I’ve done consumed so much music in my life. But the Lox is my 3rd favorite group in hip hop history. Wu-tang, Mobb Deep and then the Lox. But what a dope event for us hip hop heads
The reason this freestyle hits you different, it's The enthusiasm and warrior spirit Jadakiss had during the Versuz,!! Platform is everything, Versuz is a great platform,it was a battle!!no mercy spirit!
I agree, prolly one of the most consistent rappers ever, all his joints weren't always fiyah, fiyah, but they definitely were never wack and that means and says a lot. 👌👍
I love that he preformed this on the Verzuz. There's so many fire freestyles out there that get lost in the shuffle. This one got a whole new life hella years later. Fire.
Jadakiss you've always been the man I love your flow I feel what you speaking about keep doing what you doing brother still sounds good great job God bless you my man, peace
Can’t believe this is 10yrs old shit is timeless! That spit was just hard!!!! Nyc needed this verzus hip hop needed this!!!! I hope this battles opens the doors to other battles like this. This verzus was definitely history and it set the tone swizz and Tim has to do something like this or better
I thought it was a new freestyle on Verzus but I knew something was wrong when he said he's been slapping rappers around for a decade. I was like only 1 decade???? 🤔🤔🤔 lol
