Their relationship can be so complex at times lol. I think that they're all IT for each other, you know? Just as Floyd and Jade will never suddenly drift apart and become distant or hate each other when they become adults, the same applies for Azul. They're closer than friends. I'd call them family, but that feels like too lax of a label for these three. Still, family is the absolute closest thing to a label that I can think of for them. It's so interesting to me cause at times you can see where their own bias affects how others see them. Floyd says that they'd drop Azul if he ever got boring but from everything we see, it's unlikely that Azul will EVER be boring to the twins. They're around him even when they're clearly annoyed by his actions or when they get absolutely nothing out of it except for Azul being happy. Or how the twins will always go out of their way to stand up for Azul. Floyd always goes for the psychical route, often defending Azul's reputation with violence (When he threatened Riddle during Beanfest) or defending Azul himself with violence. Jade often goes the more verbal route by helping Azul's schemes or subtly making sure things will go to plan for Azul even if the things are incredibly minor. Those three know each other incredibly well and care for each other even more.
i always get the impression that when the trio are like "the twins would totally drop azul in a heartbeat if they were bored" and all that, that it's actually them playing in one way or another. in the case of book four azul was trying to poke the hornet's nest that is jamil with floyd playing along where as with the tsum the twins basically went "hey azul, dance for our amusement~" and it worked
They are the definition of best friends(always there for each other but mocking them too) but dont asume bcs idk they might have some problems with what is friendship since the 3 were kinda lonely as kids

If it's not too much to ask for, do you think you could do one about Grim and MC relationship or a compilation of interactions between the Ghost Trio and them in the future? Ramshackle it's a very underrated and forgotten dorm but I love their screentime very much 💖
