I love exploring Chenyu Vale, it felt like the first time I explored Liyue when Mondstadt was the only region, it's both refreshing and exciting.

A nice day at the port: Dizi, Bawu/Hulusi. (Too difficult to distinguish both Bawu and Hulusi for this piece) 4. The Jadeite Reflection: GuZheng, Luogu, Pipa, Erhu. (There's one percussion instrument which i couldn't identify) 5. Springtide of Qiaoying: Bawu. 6. Verdant Longings: Bawu/Hulusi, Pipa, Dizi. 7. Camellia Night: Pipa, GuZheng. 8. Brocade Dreams: Dizi, GuZheng. 9. The Journey of Tea Leaves: GuZheng. 10. Creeks of Nostalgia: Xun. 11. Whispering Mountains: Dizi. (I suspect a Xiao in there, but could not confirm) 12. Melody of Morning Dew: Xiao. 13. Teaplucker's Joy: Sheng, Bawu, Hulusi. (This time I split Bawu and Hulusi because both sounded clearly in this piece, but I still may be wrong) 14. Dweller of Bamboo Groves: Bawu, Hulusi, Low note Suona, Dizi, Guzheng. ( i might have mistaken an Oboe for Suona) 21. Herb Gatherer's Dream: Bawu, Sheng, Ruan, Dizi. (Might be Ruan or Harp, but sounds more like Ruan to me) 22. Her Silhouette: Dizi. 23. A Jolly Trick: Pipa, Dizi, MuYü, Bo (Chinese Cymbals), Huyin Luo/Daluo (Chinese Gong). 24. Pleasure of Rural Life: Sanxian, Pipa, Chinese clappers/DanPi Gu, Huyin Luo/Daluo, Erhu. (It could be Danpi Gu or Clappers, but it sounds like a mallet type percussion) 25. The Rime of the Ancient Bargeman: Chinese folk tunes/Mountain Song. 26. The Rime of the Ancient Bargeman (II): Chinese folk tunes/Mountain Song. 27. Chenyu Fisherman's Song: Chinese folk tunes. 28. Chenyu Fisherman's Song (II): Chinese folk tunes. There is a extinct type of Chinese instrument known as the KongHou, which is a harp. The difference is that the sound of Konghou is more sharper and solid instead of mellow like western harp, also, the Konghou have 2 sets of strings, which is doubled the amount of strings on a western harp. Xun is a clay instrument that is similar to the ocarina. Sanxian is a 3 string instrument which is the ancestor of Shamisen in Japan. Unlike the Shamisen, Sanxian is finger plucked instead of a giant pick. But at the North of Japan, there is an instrument called Shanshin which is similar to the Sanxian, because most of the traditional instruments at the north of japan hardly evolved, which retains more similarities to ancient Chinese instruments compared to more evolved instruments in the South like Shamisen. Guqin is the ancestor of all Zither with more than 3000 years of history. This means the Guqin is the beginning of Guzheng, Se, Koto, Gayageum, Geomungo, Ichigenkin, etc. Bawu is an instrument with a reed inside which creates a mellow and soothing sound. It is shaped like a flute. Hulusi is a gourd instrument, it is also a drone instrument, where the hulusi contains 2 additional pipes in which the drone notes were played. The hulusi sounded similar to the Bawu flute. Sheng is a reed instrument, it is the ancestor of the Japanese Sho. In ancient times, the sheng is made out of bamboo, today, the sheng are modernised to be able to play single notes and multiple, there are many types of Sheng, from soprano ones to the contrabass ones. Sheng is basically a portable organ. Ruan is a four string instrument that sounded like a bass, but not really bass. There is an instrument called Liuqin, which is a 4 string instrument that looks like a tiny Pipa, but they are both different instruments.

Chenyu Vale is currently my favourite area in Liyue because of the musics. It's livelier than other areas in Liyue.

Just when I thought Fontaine's music would be the peak, they go on and make the most peaceful, tranquil and refreshing tracks in the game so far. The Chasm had this freedom to it's tracks, Liyue itself has many of the most beautiful tracks in the game, but the Chenyu Vale OST has got to be the cherry on top of Liyue's musical scape.

I have been waiting for this. I was getting tired of scrapping from playlist to playlist to find them. Thank you for your service Official channel of Genshin! We will never forget you!

Also, the 4 fisherman songs at the end are amazing. When I first heard them in game I was stunned, and with no other instruments playing, the boat ride felt so peaceful and pure.

This game gave me a completely different attitude to music. I got to know instruments that I didn't even know existed. You can call it wonderful.

Здравствуйте, диск получился замечательным. Музыка написана в основном в вариационной форме, и я очень долго думала почему. Думаю, ответ прост, т.к. долина Чень Юй это часть Ли Юэ, поэтому такой выбор формы. Всё-таки вы правильно решили немного разнообразить и добавить новые музыкальные темы, такие как последняя акапелла. Очень понравилась, по ощущениям смахивает на клич деревенских людей. Ещё не исследовала эту территорию, но чуть позже сделаю это и сравню правильно ли я думаю насчёт музыки. Произведения хорошие, но хотелось бы побольше разнообразия. Скоро буду слушать 2 диск. Желаю композиторам успехов и вдохновения! P.S. Согласна с комментаторами ниже, песня лодочника добавила изюминку в этот диск. Великолепно! Браво!
