39:07 I think the rational is that if there's a muta switch later you can just add 1 or 2 sairs and be able to fight. Also even 3 sairs kills ovvie so much faster with the plus 1. It's only 100-100 so it's not a huge investment or anything. It's less than a templar. I think trading 6 or 7 hydras for a templar or 2 is good for Toss. A storm can only kill about 10-15 hydras if it's absolutely perfect, so I always find it funny when they sac like 5 hydras to kill a templar. Like most Zergs move out of the storm and only loose 1 or 2 Hydras in a fight. I always laugh on ladder like.. "uhh ok... you wanna trade like 6 hydras for my 1 spell having templar?". Good games bro. Your casts are always enjoyble.
ggs, thanks for the cast! These two always put on a good show spoiler I've watched some Jaedong FPVODs (including one vs. Bisu) and that first game's ending reminded me of it. He's surprisingly panicky later game, full macro focus Sauron Zerg style, paying almost no attention to control. You can go look yourself, but yeah, I asked the same question, "what is he doing??" Something makes him panic, or maybe it's frustration.
Why not mutating. Larve mutate into units or drones. Drone further mutates into buildings this is all what zergs is about. In original sc:bw zerg were just those larvae and they were manipulated by xel to become more adaptive mutators and absorbents of genetic material of other races. Everything about zerg is mutation. It is perfeting the race. Overmind is there to assure that they will not go into individual mode like protos did. At least this is how i remember it.. i could be wrong.
I love your channel and because of that I gotta say that your Zerg biased is showing. In the first game where Bisu was obviously domaniting near the end you talked that they were so even you didn't know which way it would go. Just an FYI
I agree with you. The +1 air weapons was a waste. However it's more about the way you say it than what you say. I think that is what rubs people the wrong way. You say it in a very critical slam a person type of way. Instead of a neutral caster observing type of way. Seen a few of your casts. I think you're a good caster.
Jaedong lost because he didn't build spore colonies to protect his minerals. I hate seeing zerg players not build spore colonies and then lose thousands of minerals worth of drones and overlords.
