Jaedong (Z) vs SnOw (P) on Dark Origin, BEST OF 3 - Game 3 Want to support ArtosisCasts? / artosis I'm probably LIVE right now, check me out: →Twitch: / artosis
Artosis in year 2054: "Look at that! I'm actually getting chills, this is something ENTIRELY new!" By the way, my comment is just out of admiration for your passion for the game, man.
I don’t think we see enough top tier protoss showing their amazing play as much as the other races. Amazing game and love seeing Snow play against what looks to be a tough Zerg style. :D
Hey just wanted to let you know been watching for 15 years.. at least! Amazing job, been fun to watch how you navigated the many changes to the online scene. Looking forward to 15 more 😀
I would really like to see more casts of pro games you already watched that caught your atention where you go more in deep describing the specific builds , decitions made in game or cool details that made that game stand out. That is the format where we get the most out of your hability to dedicate time and brain power to sit and just think about the game. I'm just saying that format is very good and could(should!) be mixed in more often. BUT your regular casts are also top tier content, so that's fine. keep them comin'
Man that was an excellent end to a great 3 game ladder series. Loved the back and forth between these two powerhouses. Spells all over the place! As usual great casting, thank you Artosis!!!
Really enjoy this channel, I dont always get to catch the casts daily but Im never disappointed to work through a backlog :) Great to see random high level games when theres no ASL or anything to get my brood war fix.
I watch this channel almost every time I'm about to go to bed. Love watching a legend cast and also keep up with a game I've loved my whole life. Keep it up as long as you can!!
Such a great game by these pro gamers. Jaedong took a big lead in the first few mins, and most of the time in charge of the game especially the Center of the map area which is great. The downfall was he took a base trade at 18 mins with snow that he started to fall behind. But anyway, great match up by these players.
ty rt for your endless dedication. i enjoy your casts of top korean ladder players. snow was allways known for his pvt but after seeing him improve his pvz the last few years, he looks like a scary asl champion contender. coming to this game, he always knew what to do (and it was tricky to read jd's moves here). he was always waiting for the perfect moment to fight and his movement on the map was near perfect. if rain isn't destroying some protoss nerds in the next asl, it will be hard to stop snow.
Snow, unfortunately, always plays worse offline than online, but yes, he is improving. Maybe he will be the next Flash and they will have to make new maps to counter him :)
That was a sick game, always love to see the pros experiment with avant garde strategies. Great cast as always Artosis, your vids def are a part of my daily routine 👍
I def watch the SC1 cast as part of my daily thing now, either before work or an hour or two into work. I've actually been doing back and rewatching old ASL tournys as well. Loving the content.
I really love watching the pros play each other in ladder games outside of a tournament setting. Its always fun seeing them try out things they wouldn't necessarily do in ASL because of the stakes.
I don't watch the Artosis cast in the morning with my coffee because that's not enough starcraft. Instead, I let it pool up for a week and binge a couple hours of it so I don't end up at the end of just one cast wanting more.
I love the timing of your uploads! It's the first thing I watch, usually with my coffee. My 9 month old and 2 1/2 year old doesn't mind watching either lol
Been watching a bunch of old games on Artosistv lately. Bad map matches and chat stuff. Awesome older content. Makes me appreciate how much better old chat was, compared to new chat. Just spent the last 2 hours getting 5 kids up and out the door to various places. Yes, this is the perfect sit down coffee, breathe for a minute time. Keep it up!
I can just add comments and likes. thanks again for the content. Ironically, I can watch/see/enjoy more broodwar content than 5678 years ago, which is awesome!
I feel like it was the Archons at the end. There was a moment where an archon did splash damage to a bunch of lings, and the goons finished them off and it was surprisingly one-sided in that engagement. 17:05 ish
ASL casts have become part of my midnight instant noodles routine so that whenever I have ramen, I hear dying hydralisks and siege tank shots in the background
Become a part of your routine where you stare off into the distance, "I can still here those marines screaming, the Ultralisks were angry that day my friend."
The Armor rush was so interesting! I wonder if JD had skipped Defiler and gone Ultra if he would have won. He already had +2 Armor. Storm neutralized his Zerglings but every Ultra would soak 2-3 Storms in a fight. Swarm/Plague are only alright vs. Protoss, and Hydra/Lurker pair well with Ultras especially in close combat.
Thank you for all the uploads ... this is the only "TV" I watch, this and cat videos. I can't survive off of cat videos xD ... I always watch at lunch =)
Exactly how protoss is supposed to be played, good army comp, good micro, great storm placement. Snow got so much value out of that army at the 8 o'clock position. Upgrades and some good templar use allowed him to stockpile gas and make a fuck ton of templars leading to victory
Bravo to the caster and players. Excellent match, really interesting strategy choices by Jaedong, I enjoy the expirementing think it was a worthwhile choice.
If Hydras have 80 hp (1 armor) and Zealots have 8 (x2) Attack, no upgrades means 6 attacks to kill hydra (6×14=84). But if Hydras have 2 defense, zealots need 7 hits to kill (7x12=84). Basically the same thing for Zergling but for mass Hydra.
That was crazy good. One thing I've always noticed about Protoss players is when they try to break Lurkers they always throw everything into the Lurkers at once; reasonable given how hard the game is to play. However if you can take your time, let the Goons hit their shots, drop Storms one by one, you can avoid the Lurker Meat Grinder. Snow absolutely nailed that this game. He was so patient, didn't over extend, and played to his outs by not fighting over the bridge. Really amazingly done, I would not give any Protoss the time of day after an opening as good as Jaedong's.
Good strat from Jaedong. What really killed him was all the Lurkers he lost. If he had saved more lurkers towards the end then he could have slowed the push into his 4th and 5th. ALso the bad rally on that first defiler cost him more than you would think.
Yup, definitely a part of my routine now. Without you, my love for BW wouldn't expand so broadly, inserted by my dad so long ago. I want a Zerg t-shirt or Artosis t-shirt just to show the PASSION BURNING inside these zerg vines of mine, to all the mere folk who doesn't know what a true RTS looks like!
Wow, it doesn't happen often that I see a protoss winning vs a zerg in that full zergling/lurker/defiler composition. Great templar control from Snow to make it happen.
