There is a blue version of this watch that I would love to see in video, have come across it many times and online the pictures are awful, can't tell what it looks like but I have a feeling its amazing.

I could be wrong but MG I don't think has a blue version, Polaris world time does have blue dial tho

Beauty watch. Nicely sized. But I do notice that jlc isn't big on power reserve for their watched. Do you consider this a short coming.

The movement is an engine. The more it's running while not being worn the more wear on the movement . You don't park your car at night and leave the engine running, do you?

New model is 40 mm and has 70 hrs. However I have bought this one as the bracelet is amazing. You can always put it on a strap and the relatively short reserve means a really cheap price.

That is also very very nice. I could wear that easily. Very understated and yet prominent. I’m not keen on the bracelet. Is there any way this can be changed to and alligator bracelets

I think JLC'S Geographical model bears some substantial concept error that the date does NOT go with the local time zone but stays with the home time. That means, if I travel from Chicago to say Singapore, I can immediately know the time of Singapore by tuning the time zone to local city, but I don't know the date. The date should reflect whatever my current local time is at. Instead, to tune that, you have to manually change the date and then re-adjust the entire local & home corresponding system, which is inconvenient and lost the meaning of a travel watch.

What the heck else are you gonna do on a multi hour flight than fiddle with your watch for 30 seconds? I don't know about you, but if im gonna be in any given time zone for longer than a day, it's always more convenient to just make that new time zone my main time zone.
