It was on the 10th Day of Navaratri, Dussehra, Maa Durga achieved victory over the demon Mahishasur. Today on Dussehra, I humbly offer a song to commemorate Maa Durga's victory.
Lord Sri Rama was also victorious in the war with the demon King Ravana on this very day.
Maa Durga, our Beautiful Universal Mother is an epitome of Powerful Energy & Supreme Strength ( Shakti ).She is also a Compassionate Mother who grants Peace & Fearlessness to her devotees. Maa Durga slayed the viscious demon Mahishasur & was thereafter named Mahishur Mardini.
We Salute & pay our Obeisance to our Reverred Maa Durga.
