Temples are not public parks. It has it's rules, just follow them. Most temples don't have such rules go there. If same thing is about mosque or churches and if someone tries to break the rule you same people react differently.

Most informed and data backed discussion on this topic. We Hindus are hurt because standing up for our faith is in some strange convoluted way seen as Communal. Born as a Hindu, converted to Christianity at age 2 along with my whole family, and subsequently brainwashed into believing Hindu gods are demons (in the most loving flowery language), I personally lived through the trauma of Christian conversions. The conversions are targeting the very core of Hinduism - the most beautiful pluralistic belief system that all paths lead to the god. For years, I was told not to visit Hindu temples, not to pray to Hindu gods, not to eat Hindu prashad, not to celebrate Hindu festivals, not to keep Hindu god pictures in home, and for God's sake they didn't even let us participate in the death rituals of our close relatives and family members. It's such a vile and exclusivist ideology under the garb of love of compassion. 40 years old, I'm still suffering from this childhood trauma induced by christianity. I know demeaning Hindu gods is wrong, but I was petrified even to think otherwise because they brainwashed to me believe that even a mere thought of accepting other forms of beliefs is a sure shot ticket to eternal hell. Irrespective of you are a good person or not. The only way to eternal heaven is through Jesus. So it's your job to stay in the box, and also bring other lost sheep into your box of Christianity.

If jagan says i respect their religion then what stops him signing the declaration and visiting the Tirumala temple. Humanity is my religion note down in declaration says jagan ok, your declaration got rejected Please step aside.. Follow tradition and rules of the Temple period..

I don’t understand why this declaration came into picture now? Why didn’t they stop in previous tdp government during 2014 - 2019? Why didn’t that modi or amit shah didn’t ask when the visited to Tirumala with Jagan? Suddenly it came in to picture now because he lost in elections. I myself visited tirumala with my friends in 2018 one of my friend is a christian we all submitted our aadhar cards there but no one asked for declaration. So the rule is only for Jagan mohan reddy or all others? And i heard that he declared in 2009 itself when he visited first time itself.

@@abhiram13579 WHAT an ahole argument. "You were okay before then. Why not now" is a classic victim-shaming technique. If you were sexually assaulted for a very long period and suddenly decided enough was enough and reported it, would you ask the same question? It was okay before, but it doesn't make it okay now. The rule was broken before, and the rule is broken again now. Since TDP has more power noiw, they used it to their advantage, but that doesn't make what Jagan did right. How can politics not come into the issue when the contamination supposedly happened during Jagan's rule in AP and people nominated by Jagan in the Tirupathi Board during his govt reign, were the people who either deliberately conspired to adulterate or allowed the adulteration of laddus to happen because of obvious corruption and also that people of another religion appointed by Jagan on the Tirupathi Board could not care less if the ghee is impure or not. Hence, this issue has everything to do with politics.
@nrusimha11

The question of whether the beef-pork-ghee was used for making laddu is merely a question of titillation and schadenfreude for secular journalists. The religious consequences are for the Hindu who might have eaten them, and even any Muslim who might have. The bigger question is, how did the beef and pork get there? Was there premeditation?
@sadhanasuresha587

Waqf board controls land supposedly donated by Muslims but it is, not a body that controls mosques and how islamic rituals are practised. So, there is no similarity with control of temples. Waqf Board powers are in dispute in the Bill brought by govt because the waqf board had indiscriminate & illogical powers when it came to calling any land in India as that belonging to the Waqf board.

After some tanks of ghee from the company in question were used, the devotees complained about the quality of Laddoo. So, the remaining tanks of ghee were sent for testing. The testing indicated adulteration of ghee with vegetable oil, animal fat, pork tallow etc. So, it is very difficult to say the ghee used in Laddoos was not contaminated since all the tanks of ghee arrived at the same time. Also, Tirupathi doesn't have a proper facility to test for adulteration of Ghee so they wouldn't have known whether the ghee was adulterated or not. Then how is it possible to say the adulterated ghee was not used in the Laddoos preparation?

We all saw from 75 years how badly temples are maintained. Bad maintenance, breaking the samapradaya of temples, mistreating devotees in temples, looting money in the name of tax and other wellfare uses of government, selling or occupying temple lands, missing of temples asserts like gold etc.

@@venkateswarluk5133u can't cheerypick the criteria as per ur wishes. All temples are under government . Similarly all churches etc should come under government. Only then it's true equality. If government only wants to control the temples then it's better to remove government involvement. Also, the donations given to temple are by private citizens, so infact government should not have any control over these institutions. Devotees should manage it themselves.
