The Ratna Bhandar at Puri's Jagannath Temple will soon be opened as a high-level committee under the chairmanship of Justice Biswanath Rath meets on Tuesday. The committee has fast-tracked the process of opening the temple treasury after 46 years. As per records, the Jagannath Temple’s Ratna Bhandar has a total 454 gold articles with a net weight of 128.38 kg of gold and 221.53 kg of silver. The last inventory of Ratna Bhandar was made 46 years ago in 1978.

Its not about BJP or anything but there has been always severe consequences whenever such doors are planned to be opened,we public must get together and ask that these doors must not be opened if the key is lost let it remain lost because we havent been depending on the precious metals or stone kept inside,we must hope that something is done and stopped else there's gonna be definitely severe consequences where the mankind must be ready to face it😢

Ohh really? Govt can’t account the treasure but some guy from Tamil Nadu will have access to the treasury? Are you insane? The treasure will be accounted and secured by the government now. This is a lot safer.. there is no govt better than bjp who support hindutva… There’s no guarantee the treasure will be safe id some other govt comes into power..

The Hindu devotees across Bharat visit the famous temples across Bharat. Whether the temples in Kerala, TN, AP, UP, MP, Orissa or anywhere, my opinion is that ancient treasure bhandars must not be opened

@@rathnakarshetty18 I don’t think you know why Naveen Patnaik lost the election.. this treasure is owned by temple and the temples administration wanted to account the treasure since they felt it was going in wrong hands under Patnaik’s rule…. I can’t explain the whole story.. why don’t you read the facts and come back again?
