This kit is Blitz by Takom 8003 upgraded with Atak Model resin Zimmerit, Aber gun barrel, Master Model MG 42 and Eureka XXL towing cables.
Today you can check how I dealt with making camo netting for this beast with Porsche suspension!!!
This is the tutorial with all steps shown! Check it out!
Jägermeister is coming! :)
Jagdtiger was the heaviest armored fighting vehicle (AFV) produced and used during WW2 by any nation. Armed with a 128 mm Pak 44 L/55 could destroy any Allied vehicle. 150 were ordered but only around 80 were produced. It saw service from late 1944 until the end of the war on both the Western and Eastern Front. The enormous weight and underpower caused plague of poor mobility and lots of mechanical problems.

Very good tutorial. Dry brushing at the end with the faded green was, to me, absolutely essential to make the netting really stand out and to give it depth. Fine job!

Great result. The effect from using the 3 different greens is subtle but adds alot of interest to the camo net. The netting looks great with the tarps below it.

Thanks for sharing the modeling tips. What is the better time to build camo net on the tank, including depolying and painting the camo net? Is it better before or after painting and weathering the tank model? Thanks
@coldemonspl

In my opinion, that's when it's best for you to work with it. I put painted mesh on the model but before weathering :)

@coldemonspl
@coldemonspl Год назад
I'm not sure if it's be good and from what I've looked on the internet, it probably isn't. My gauze is a Polish product, which is probably produced in other countries under a similar name - gauze bandage. Ask in a pharmacy and possibly show my video to the seller, then she/he should help. :)

Oh please…how can the crew can realistically get in AND OUT of that tank with all the hatches covered and blocked like that?You think you’ve discovered the wheel while in fact you’re just doing what the likes of F.Verlinden did when your parents weren’t even born yet!
@coldemonspl
@coldemonspl 3 месяца назад
Did I say anywhere in the video that the vehicle represents the vehicle in operational time? Or maybe this is what it would look like while stationary and out of combat? Has this occurred to you? I don't think so. I'm not reinventing the wheel, I'm not even trying. And my parents were already alive when Verlinden made his models. Think carefully about what you write because you won't always find someone who will respond to your weak taunts in nice words.
