Update : I have now sold this set as I kept haveing retailing problems.
Jagerndorfer 70306 , 70211,7021.
control car requuires dcc chip.
I will now be keeping this set and fitting an Esu -Bachmann function decoder and fleischmann profi couplings to all coaches.
NOTE: 10.2.22 I have refitted back all the JC factory couplings from Fleischmann profi couplings as the train coaches had too many problems with close couplings.
Note: These coaches do have interiors but the window glass is a very dark tint.

Very good video Jim, though of you the other day, I popped in the house for a brew and their was a film on called the Cassandra crossing. I thought, I bet Jim could replicate that train in model form.

😄 That was a very unique film.. Who would of thought all those years ago we would be in the same position in the future but world wide..

the consist varies throughout the movie despite the fact they try to hide it, they dress up an italian articulated loco as the swiss loco we see in the first half, when they exchange locos they then have the train being pulled by a blanked out Deutsche bahn switcher

I dont know how Piko and roco can sell such quality as cheap as they do, although I do like roco seperate details, new lima rivarossi and jouef are harder to find here in the US, and they dont have as many products as they used to

Yeah some of the Roco models like the dcc cranes are amazing, high quality which are serviceable.

That is a gorgeous train. Jagerndörfer makes gorgeous models. Not always the strongest pullers in locos, but always gorgeous!

Yeh I have one other Jc set they are very good..not keen on the locos but still very nice robust coaches...just need to get the loco now from somewhere..
