I’m so glad they did an entire rework in the wilderness to bring in the Voidwaker (a good money maker and a decent spec weapon) just to turn around and kill it.
but in cox isnt maul most common of super rares ? also plently floating about in game so unless its super op at certain bosses i dont see it staying say 120m+ perm.
I saw a suggestion that made a lot of sense earlier. If Jagex is planning on rolling our the elemental damage stuff, and if the reason that want to nerf the Voidwaker is that they want to be able to design new monsters where it won't be BIS, then just give the Voidwaker spec air elemental damage and make any such monsters immune to air elemental damage. Easy.
current meta is barrage everything endlessly, idk why its not a super rare drop from SLAYER bosses, it would atleast make it a bit more common on your way to 99
@@edster6334 but their counter proposal is to just slap 5x accuracy on it which is gonna make it 98% accuracy anyway how is 98% acc fine but 100% accuracy isnt? for pvp i could understand your argument but from a pvm spec weapon perspective it makes zero sense, and they could just change how it works in pvp
I had 2 IH drops before 220 Superiors and its probably my biggest flex. Kept one for awhile, then got the 2nd, sold the 2nd for my last piece of Armadyl, and then sold the original to get Bowfa. Great Video Tasty, keep em coming brother
I think the new rebalance proposal is mostly fine. If I could change it, leave VW alone, make anc 4% so its a significant upgrade since its a rare raid reward, buff offhands more to help fill the shadow gap since shadow doesnt benefit, and remove the eternal boots buff because needing boot switches sucks for everyone.
I don't think heart should be nerfed, it's rarity helps hold it's value and also the bridge between normal magic pots and imbued heart was introduced and it's called the forgotten brew, which is a +10 magic boost. The imbued heart is statistically, hard to get there's no denying that. However, you can heavily optimize your ability to farm an imbued heart with turael skipping for smoke devils, dark beasts, and smoke devils.
It’s a huge letdown seeing Jagex drift away from letting polls determine the outcome of the game. They should leave the game alone and update less frequently while keeping the update's impact on the game at a minimum like it was originally intended.
like how this one update of changing weapon/item stats has now expanded into other items not mentioned seems jagex have opened bee nest and need to think carefully.
Almost 38m slayer exp main here, just recently got my first eternal gem, not a heart in sight. Also went 17k penguin laps dry for squirrel after going 6700 kc dry for Sarachnis pet.

The imbued heart is supposed to be a rare and valuable drop, you have INFINITE mage potions for life. It should be incredibly rare, forgotten brews should just be updated to give no - stat boosts and the issue is solved
Anyone else notice at 9:05 if the guy didn't kill zuk on that final hit he would've tanked a hit from zuk? Imagine that being the clip instead of the completion :D
They should add Heart to every slayer boss drop table with a 1/7,5k drop rate (im at 20m slayer exp right now still no heart/gem, no cannon. just grinding iron btw)
Buffing imbued heart rate would be stupid imo just make forgotten brews easier to obtain, remove the stats debuff and remove the prayer regen to balance it. That way you have a good potion at close to the same strength as heart and if you want heart then you have to do the shit grind.
They could have updated vw to work differently in pvp vs pvm and they also could have made future bosses immune to the voidwaker special attack or change current bosses to be immune (Similar to how vasa crystals have mage reduction) They didnt need to nerf the vw throughout the entire game
I think the important difference between those items is that DWH is effectively required for a ton of content, where IH is just a dps increase, and to my knowledge not even a huge one (unless using shadow)
I'd like to see imbued heart and other superior drops as something purchased by saving up points for killing superiors. Higher lvl superiors give more points. That way players always feel like they made progress from a superior kill.
The attack animation started before Zuk died so the fireball still got shot visually. If entity hider wasn’t hiding dead npc’s then you would’ve seen Zuk shoot it in his death animation.
Isn't the point of osrs to be community lead who asked for these changes and why aren't they being polled this is the exact reason we have the poll system so we don't have eoc part 2 this could get real bad jagex USE UR DAMN POLL SYSTEM
OSRS making these changes to drop rates is terrible. We have already seen the result from rs3. People will now sit there and say "rather than playing lets just wait for them to make it easier to get"
It’s going to crash. A lot of people buy in to merch as soon as there’s positive content on an item. But if you look at the volume of elder mauls you’d see that it’s impossible for it to keep the value. It’s more of a situational merch. But I do see it holding anywhere from 50-70 mil which is fair. Just over where the DWh used to be.
those who are responsible on voidwaker adjustment, doesnt understand how it works. Literally its purpose is use on HIgh defence bosses like nex,kephri even nightmare and such. While where is lower defences other spec weapons shines more meaning that voidwaker is used less places than D claw, zcb and bgs haha. Voidwaker fits perfectly in spec weapon meta beacuse it makes some bosses much easier deal with that would be very rough to deal with.
don't even know anyone who's had an imbued heart drop, its a myth rs drop rates the reason I play wow instead now, fuck potentially doing 1000's of hours killing the same npc's to not even get a drop and probably lose money doing it
my iron has 3 eternal gems... 20mil slayer xp... I gave up... just unfortunate there's no other alternative to get a comparable magic boost haha... would love to see an alternative method to earning one. Also I think VoidWaker nerf sets a dangerous precedence... Feels like Call of Duty's strategy to get people to keep playing their content. Release new content with OP weapon. Once everyone has OP weapon and content is dead. Nerf it. Release new content with new OP weapon. Rinse and repeat. This isn't a blow pipe drop... that thing took a month to get... Iron man is going into hibernation til stuff stops being so volatile. Every grind feels like a potential waste of time.
Why is that 6 man toa solo carry such a big deal? I’ve solo carried 6 man TOA’s for literally all of enrage faze. If you know what your doing you don’t take any damage….
The voidwaker nerfs are like giving your kid junk food every day for 2 years and then suddenly trying to make them eat healthy. They're gonna whine and complain that everything was fine before when we all know it was never fine.
We're all getting older man. As we get older most of us have less time to play. The average player can not put the same hours in the 150 streamers on twitch do. The less of a grind the better imo. I play osrs for the content like raids and stuff. Idk why everyone is so fixated on stuff having to take thousands of hours because it always has. If that was the case with real life we would all still be in the stone ages. So idc if they make it all obtainable over night tbh. It's just a game. If you aren't having fun don't play if you are then pkay. Really that simple tbh
