The water is slightly cloudy because I literally JUST did a water change. The bichir usually runs around the tank without caring about anyone, I've never seen him act like this in the 2 years I've had him! Is he trying to mate with the jaguar? WTF lol
You need to know this is an extremely rare relationship going on. Typically, a bichir would be lunch for a Jaguar Cichlid. You are lucky to be able to keep them together without the Jaguar beating the crap out the bichir. I can't keep anything else in the same tank with my jaguar.
Ya. They've always got along. Now more than ever. The jag just takes it. VERY rarely he'll snap at him. But you can tell it's not to hurt him. More like saying "enough for now".
This is hilarious😂 I just bought a 120 gallon tank and am planing to do 2 oscars and a jag. How is the aggression? Also, is this a 5 ft long 120 gallon tank?
