Great video, I have a 2017 F-Type R and its beautiful! I get plenty of compliments and you are correct, not many people have this amazing car! The exhaust sound is beastly! I think you forgot to put it in Dynamic mode...the sound is much much much better! I'm new to your channel and glad I stumbled on it. Keep up the great work.

i have the latest f type (this one but in British green with black accents. He put it in dynamic mode the dials turn red when you do. blue when you are not in dynamic mode.

Just pull the active exhaust fuse! First thing I did on my 2021 F Type R. Snaps, crackles, and pops galore! Mine is yellow too just like the tester. I'm usually the only one at cruise ins versus a sea of 911s and vettes.

The newer model type-rs are quieter than previous models… its always been like that. the exhaust sound isn’t as loud even with pulling the fuse.

its good that the roof is manual, jags and most high end cars are prone to power roof failure when they get a few years old. I say we need more good quality components but less electronic functions for basic things. glad they are thinking of the future in that at least.

Saves weight keeping the sun shade manual. The glass roof is an option and doesn't open.

i dont think you had the dynamic mode switch on, if it was on it fully opens the exhaust all the time so you get more pops when revving, but it also got toned down from previous models

I disagree with you on the Sun-roof point, it is better when it's manuel, I mean it's sports car you just open and close within fractions of seconds when it's manuel rather than wait 1,2,3..7 seconds till it's done annoying isn't it?

Yes, in my view it's the most beautiful model in the present Jaguar line-up. But to be honest I like the XKs from the late 90s way more. The interior is too teutonic - maybe good quality (even though I heard different opinions on that), but all in all, it just doesn't represent the top of the line kind of interior one would like to see in such a car. Generally, I think the current line up of Jaguar is the least attractive in their entire history and I look forward to what the company will deliver under the new management. It can only get better. Jaguar, don't try to be German. Be British!

Once the price hit above $100k, there are many other cars in this price range to consider. What is the point of getting a 2 seater V8? You cannot reach the maximum potential usability without getting a ticket. For this price point you can get a range rover with lots of space ,and similar luxurious feeling and interface as you described
