You got this so right, this car is about the full experience: speed, handling, sounds and looks. Other cars may be a bit better in individual aspects of these but nothing beats the F-Type in the combination of all aspects of the driving experience.

Also this is 2 cars in one: it is a full on sports car if you want it to be but also a comfortable and practical GT cruiser when you want that 😁 We took ours on a 3 week long 4200 mile long European Road Trip across 10 countries and fitted everything inside the boot under the shelf for 2 people 😎👌

Nice review. Btw- as good as this facelifted gen F-Type R sounds, it's actually a lot quieter and more mellow than my 2019 F-Type SVR, if you can believe that 😂

Yes, it has a beautiful face. We cant say that about too many cars nowadays. Too many cars only look good from the back. In Human Attraction terms its said like this “A Big Booty doesn’t make Her Fine.”

I couldn't agree more on every single point you made about the car & what the Jaguar is. Yes, I looked at Porsche, but for me the Jag was a better looking car and I feel more comfortable in it, I wanted a coupe and have a 2015 R AWD in santorini black with black pack, oh plus the carbon inlayed wheels :). It is the 550BHP engine not upgraded with latest software and none of the filter rubbish, as it was supposed to be. For such a car, you can still drive it like Miss Daisy quietly and it does it easily. Likewise if you want nuts, it'll deliver it in plentiful bucketloads. I think Jaguar have underplayed the performance with the R version, it has to be something pretty exotic to out do this car, the way it can take off and keep going even tasks the bikers. It puts down the power so incredibly well. As you may tell, I just love my Jag, I feel as if a million dollars in it! I see many more Porsches on the road too! I'm sorted. Oh & thanks again! great review.

@derrickwalker1019 the car looks cool, but dated. A 2018 c7 grandsport and a 2018 ftype r. The vette looks better. Only thing the jag has going is the back quad exaust and the interior, they took away the exaust noise on the r. A seat in a R and for a starting price of 100k the interior is a 6/10

@@ChrisFEJackson U R FACTUALLY WRONG. FORD OWNED JAG, LAND ROVER, VOLVO, ASTON MARTIN, AND MOSTLY MAZDA. JAG HAS BEEN USING THE COYOTE ENGINE EVER SINCE 2010 /2011. JAG DID SOME SLIGHT CHANGES WITH TUNEING AND SUPER CHARGER. THEY ALL HAVE BEEN USING FORD DRIVE TRAIN COMPONENTS FOR SOMETIME. LAND ROVER WENT WITH OTHER ENGINES A COUPLE YEARS AGO.

VOLVO ALMOST GOT THAT SAME COYOTE ENGINE AS WELL TO REPLACE THE FORD DESIGNED YAMAHA BUILT 32 VALVE 4 CAM V8. BUT VOLVO NEEDED AN INLINE 6 INSTEAD FOR BETTER CRASH TESTING RESULTS. THEY WANTED THAT COYOTE ENGINE BADLY AT OVER 100 MORE HP THAN THE V8 THEY HAD. HOW DO I KNOW ALL OF THIS BECAUSE I TALKED TO THE VOLVO ENGINEERS DAILY AS A MANUFACTURER VOLVO TEST DRIVER TO INCLUDE SOME FORDS AS WELL. SUCK ON THAT BUTTERCUP. FORD GAVE THE COYOTE TO JAG FIRST AS A PREMIUM ENGINE ALL WHILE TESTING FOR MANUAL TRANS IN THE MUSTANG. I KNOW BECAUSE THEY WERE AT THE PROVING GROUNDS IN 2009 / 2010 IN PROTOTYPE MUSTANGS. FORD WANTED TO PUT THE ENGINE IN THE ENTIRE PREMIUM GROUP LINE UP TO MAKE THAT ENGINE FAR MORE COST EFFECTIVE FOR FORD. IT FOUND IT'S WAY IN TRUCKS, LAND ROVER , JAG AND FORD !!. AND BTW, THE ASTON MARTIN V12 IS TWO DUROTEC FORD V6 ENGINES MOLDED TOGETHER. AND YES IT HAS SEEN MANY CHANGES SINCE THEN. FORD HAS COUNTLESS GLOBAL ENGINES!!, THAT ARE REGIONAL SPECIFIC.
