Firstly, thank you very much for taking the time out to put this together, it's going to help me a lot. I have a friend who recently purchased this plotter, and he's having a really big problem whereby the plotter will begin to cut the sheet and then at certain points along the window film it won't cut, this sounds like the cut pad like you said. I believe he is trying to cut the whole film, the liner included, whereas it seems you only attempt to cut the film. Should he not be trying to cut the liner? Is this where he is going wrong? He fits these films on the sides of trains, so he just needs loads of identical size sheets, and his intentions were to have these all cut and stacked so he can turn up with 40 stacks and get to work. From what you're doing, I assume he would cut the film, and then roll it back up and take it like that? I don't really know anything in this field, so any advice at all would be greatly appreciated, thank you again!
great vid, i have the same cutter. when i cut something it stops at the very end and says communication error.. any tips on things to check? i have double and triple checked the serial port settings over and over..all match up perfect. i think i had similar issues on a different computer and put a string in the cutter options in flexisign production manger.
i have a Jag4 plotter and when it is at initialization and begins to read media(window film)it starts by moving to the right then begins to move to left reading material and moves all the way to the left and stops..giving me a roller sensor up error code..what do i do to fix this problem...your help is greatly appreciated... asap
