In this episode, I show how to remove the problematic top ball joints from the Jaguar XK8 XKR top wishbones. The majority of people buy new or reconditioned wishbones rather than replacing the pressed in ball joint. It can be difficult to work out how to remove it.
However If you can do this at home, it will save you many hundreds of pounds as ball joints cost from around £30 a pair. Where as rebuilt wishbones cost from around £400 per pair..
