Linda Brown It might be similar from outside but... Prestige is not S, sorry😁 The feeling in an S (from 0 to 60) is simply amazing. Try a test drive to see the difference😉
KARAGE TV Bought a brand new XF in 2016. Within weeks, problems started to surface. There were about 8 to 9 problems which include inability to register and retrieve address from the map system, blue screen for the center console, spoilt rear (reverse) camera, air conditioning not cold, moldy seat belt and multiple cabin rattling sounds. For each problem, I had to go to the service center 2 to 3 times to finally fix 1 problem. I also needed to leave the car for few days to a week on several occasions. It was a nightmare and this lasted for about 9 months. The worst were cabin rattling sounds. So difficult to detect the faults especially they were not consistent. I wanted to return the car but the dealer refused saying that it was not bad enough (e.g. not like the engine blown up). Drove me mad. Who on earth want to spend so much money to get oneself this type of torture. Till today, slightly more than 2 years, new rattling sound and squeaky brake surfaced. There is a market saying now, “You can’t spoil a Toyota and you can’t fix a Jaguar”. This is how bad the reputation of JLR is. I don’t understand why they don’t replace the CEO to a German or Japanese. This really tarnish the attitude and workmanship of British and Indian. If this is not enough, go watch 'Top 10 Worst Automakers: 2018' by autoguide.com in RU-vid. JLR usually beats everyone to win this award.
Kia Hwee Lee our family got a F-pace about a year ago and have had no problems at all other than a speaker grill. This company is changing the cars are much more reliable than everyone says but that’s great for people who want a used car bargain because people are too scared to buy a car based on its past and not its present.
