I got the XE R sport in July and took it round the North Yorkshire Dales on holliday and those roads are built for this thing , the handling is incredible

Jaguar is definitely the youthful choice now. All the old people drive Mercedes and Audi's now, how times have changed!

I must admit Jag have come a long long way in recent years particularly in design inside and out. All that said I still wouldn't plonk my money down on one.

Hi together, i'm from German, sorry for my bad english. I wait since 4 Months of my XE. Its only a 20D with 180 HP. At last Days in May he will comming..... It's a great car and with the same equipment cheaper as like the 3 big Germans. And you don't see so often in the streets. The Engine is very effektive and also the Insurance is cheaper as like Mercedes and co. I cant' find a argument against this car. Thanks for your Review so i can cut the time to wait for my car......

Jags been brilliant in recent years I'm actually going in the opposite direction from the Germans. Each Range platform gets one variant of the FTYPE actually. The XE gets the base ftype engine ,the XF gets the more powerful v6,the new XJ will likely get the 550 hp r type engine whilst the Land rover will. likely get the svr 575 hp unit. The F type is now the "spiritual base" on which the entire range is based.

Love the car, but Jaguar needs a better interior design. They need some metal bits to break up the black. It should be more contemporary. Also, the paddle shifters should be magnesium, not cheap, flimsy plastic.

CarNut .kiwi Thanks for the reply mate. Been watching your videos for a while now. It’s rare to see a fellow kiwi making high quality content about cars and it’s quite refreshing to watch. It’s especially great as you obviously review the NZ spec of cars which may not necessarily be the same as other parts of the world. Keep up the great videos! And yes we are quite spoilt for good roads here. I’m always on the look out for new great roads to drive on. That’s why I thought I’d ask haha! Btw. Looking forward for a Hyundai i30n review when it comes out next year (according to Hyundai nz)

Tell ya what , that was a great review . and the first british racing green XE i've seen . the engine sounds a bit dull to me . especially at the tips . except for the supercharger , that sounds great . i do like the piano black , it looks good enough to clean your hands maybe before each drive , or wear gloves , or just clean it regularly third world issue any ways . nice car.

I have a c250 sport I chose it over this jag for one reason. I have to have a gear shift to rest my hand on I drove this car for 30min on a test drive and I just simply didn't know what to do with the Hans that I normally rest on the shifter.

They are extremely similar on paper. I think the Jag is slightly faster but the BMW is slightly cheaper to buy and run. Both great cars. I'd have the Jag for that fantastic V6. :)

+Joshua L 340im better built; looks better- that jag grille not very nice; nicer to drive e.g. corner rolling; B58 engine awesome - plus better value for money. For me choice was easy to make

@@christopherdandeker6122 I'm interested (though a couple years late here!) why you feel like the bmw is better built/handles better. I think they both look amazing, and am mostly going off the motortrend head to head where they strongly favored the jaguar. Somehow just hearing about this car (I'm in the 8-10 years used market, for the time). Cheers
