Do you connect the phone via bluetooth or via usb ? Thanks great product

Connecting thr usb will give you wired conrol whereas bluetooth connection gives you the wireless

I have a 2008 Jaguar xkr with an aftermarket DSP, amp, speakers, any concern with connection to these devices?

Hi, it was never tested on unit that is equipped with aftermarket amp, but in theory it would work if car comes with a USB in the armrest as it uses the USB menu for carplay selection. thank you
