Jaguares v Sunwolves | Super Rugby 2019 Rd 18 Highlights The Jaguares tuned up for their home quarter-final next week by running away from the Sunwolves in the second half to score a 52-10 win in Buenos Aires. #SuperRugby #JAGvSUN
From a South African, congratulations to the Jaguares on making the playoffs, you guys have been amazing this season and deserve to be top of the conference. I am happy for your team and fans.
Watching here in Ireland The Jaguares are amazing. I watch every week to see their silky , sublime skills . This is how rugby should be played. Id love to see you guys win the title
That would be sweet indeed. The boys have played some fantastic footy and they've been really fun to watch. I hope they maintain this level in the must-win games to come. I would especially like to see Highlanders lose the 7th seed... I have no desire to play against a team full of All Blacks in the Quarterfinals :)
Jaguares are unreal at the moment. Looks like Argentina will be bringing a lot of skill and talent to this world cup, unfortunate that some are put injured for it
As much as I want the Jags to win it, Crusaders are head and shoulders above the rest of the league. We might have a chance at winning it, but they are the favorites. Thanks for the support!!!
Im proud of the Jaguares this season...They've shown their hard work and commitment paid off and are qualifying for the quarter finals...Well done Argentina for your work in your rugby industry...Coming from a South African
Congrats for the Jaguares for being the first expansion team to win the conference! The Jaguares are so fun to watch and hope they can make Argentina proud and go far.
Thanks for your words! 12 changes were made and minutes were given to relegated players, it was a game with many mistakes on each side! after the 2nd half I change a little! Those mistakes in the play-offs can not be committed!
Jaguares is a paradox and an example at the same time. When they entered the new franchises it was thought to expand the SR. Now it is the collapse of SA and Australia for "Fugue of talents" and mistakes of their own. The concrete thing is that Jaguares not only fulfilled its mission but also questions the standards of the teams that prevail. That's why I find the criticisms absurd. It should be an example of overcoming and strategy for the other franchises and their respective countries. And one more thing, Jaguars learned in 4 years the lesson of all the good teams and now they are very talented.
I couldn't agree more, my friend. Not to mention the transition from amateur to super pro. Jaguares make our country-rugby proud,, elegant and more defiant than ever before.. Remarkable. Beautiful to watch
@@satiriconexpulsado6538 This happens when 12 guys who never played together know exactly what they have to do when they play together. Excellent staff work.

Actually in this match there were only 4 pumas. The rest were new players playing for the first time (or 3rd in case of carreras) for jaguares and never played in the pumas.
Excellent support play enables the offload at just the right time. SA sides and the Springboks are going to have to come up to par very, very fast. That Saders-Jaguares final is looking so much more certain right now. Of course there's always the off chance that either one or both could be beaten in the semis.
That fullback from the wolves, unreal, what a bloody season he has had in a mediocre team, hope the bloke gets picked by some other super team etc, would be a great buy.
It has been a sensational season for Jaguares so far, what really amazes me is that if you check SANZAAR's official site and go to the "team stats" section you would never believe that they were top seed in Southafrican Conference and second seed overall. Definitely this team is not about the stats, which proves how consistent they really are.
The Argentinians must be forced to have at least two teams. It will only strengthen their player pool. If that means loosing a South African or Australian team then so be it.
Personally, I would not like to take anyone's place! More than anything the problem is economic and quality for a 2nd team! Argentina XV begins the professionalism thanks to the friends of SA in the Currie Cup!
I agree that sooner or later Argentina will have another team at the very least. But it's still a bit early, especially from a $$$ perspective. It might happen before the next world cup, I hope so, and it will certainly help us to expand our player pool.
Vamos Jaguaressssssssssss rugieron nuevamente!

Because trash for 3 years? It got better little by little! 1st year = position 14, 2nd year = position 7, 3rd year = position 2 ... improving with work and humility!
Last week we had the South African commentator (he is quite a snooze). I think we got the Aussie this time around and they are definitely more entertaining. The Kiwis are by far my favorite (and they have an All Black who knows what it is to play at this level).
also the bad pronunciation of names like Carreras or Cancelliere triggers me a bit, but I can understand the difficulty when your mother tongue is English
As I was saying in a recent match, while asking from Australia that Jaguares does not play anymore because it has sports "adventages" as a national team, Sunwolves do not say "NOTHING". The Jaguar WON the position in their own right, with results and effort, with a AMATEUR Rugby, being the sport that is far from being the most popular, unlike what happens in New Zealand, South Africa and Australia, just their rivals in this tournament. On the other hand Sunwolves has a team in which more than half are foreigners, and the few japanese are in the subtitute bank, as you can see in the video. The only play because the organizers of the tournament want to enter the GIGANTIC ASIAN MARKET and Japan is far the strongest SPORTS AND ECONOMICALLY, despite being always the last Super Rugby. As the 2021 they are again 14 teams, 5 of New Zealand, 4 of Australia, 4 of South Africa and Jaguars, the japanese are leaving because despite being a millionaire the japanese association does not want to continue losing fortune to pass sporting humilliations . Jaguars will continue until the next revision, 2025, because despite the protests they are forced to accept a team that finished this year in the 2nd. placed in the GENERAL table and that hierarchizes the tournament. But also Argentina for its Rugby AMATEURS WAS THE ONLY NATIONALS SELECTION OF THE WORLD 2015 IN HAVING ALL ITS PLAYERS BORN IN THE COUNTRY. More powerful selections in quantity and quality led foreigners, to a greater or lesser extent, the list is as follows: SAMOA 13 foreigners TONGA AND WALES 12 foreigners each JAPAN AND SCOTLAND 11foreigners each FRANCE 10 foreigners AUSTRALIA, USA AND ITALIAN, the latter with 4 ARGENTINOS, including the CAPTAIN , 9 foreigners each CANADA, IRELAND AND NEW ZEALAND 5 foreigners each ROMANIA 4 foreigners NAMIBIA 2 foreigners SOUTH AFRICA , GEORGIA AND URUGUAY 1 foreigners each. Therefore a power like New Zealand, took 5 foreigners, France 10, is a custom of France since the last World Cup of Soccer won had more than half of Arab and African players, the same in Tennis with tle Davis Cup, also England, etc.. It is so complicated to retain the stars that appear to prevent them from leaving Jaguars had to put the clause that the "FOREIGNERS" that are going to play EUROPEAN teams can not play in Los Pumas, a clause that had to relax and accept a quota. The coach of Jaguars last year and of The Pumas at the moment, Mario Ledesma, was 18 years abroad, half of his life, he was assistant coach of the Australian Michael Cheika in a french Club and then he went with the same Cheika to the AUSTRALIAN selection. But it turns out that the CHEATERS are the ARGENTINES, the only reason as I say is that they WIN.
well done to the jaguares as this is a great performance and a stunning season that has taken 3 - 5 years to create .... shame on super rugby that you are dumping the japanese sunwolves out of the competition after next season because most of the sanzar clubs cannot afford the flights .... so much for supporting the growth of the world game particularly after japan hosts the rwc later this year ..... the japanese always put in really brave performances and even when beaten week in week they have never capitulated emotionally and physically or shipped big first half scores like the aussies vs the kiwis.
I think it wat the right decision. Japanese took themselves out of the competition by not taking seriously the chance that SANZAAR gave them. The idea was that Sunwolves were the platform to improves japanese rugby, right?, like Argentina did. But instead they prefered to stay in their tiny comfortable bubble. Really a shame.

I think we can all agree that the Masirewa yellow card was a fair call. What I don't understand is why no yellow card is given if the attacking team still scores; the infringement is the same, the intention is still there, so why no card? Something for World Rugby to address...
