Y'all can still play the games lol, yeah it's mainly targeted at kids but you don't *need* to be a kid.

playing pokemon is actually really fun. But when it comes to leveling up, you need to be extra persistent and patient

I can see you're missing a lot of the references jaiden makes, like when she said her mom put her in a moving van. You gotta play pokémon R/S/E to get the joke.

One thing you might consider looking into is a Soul Link. It's like a nuzlocke you play together with opposite versions of the same generation (like Ruby/Sapphire or X/Y), but with a few added rules for your team: Every pokemon you get or catch is linked to the pokemon your parter got at the same place. If your starter is Mudkip and hers is Torchic, those two are linked. Whatever happens to one of the linked pokemon happens to the other. If Torchic dies, Mudkip also dies and cannot be used. If you're using Mudkip in combat, you must switch out. If Mudkip is put in the box, so is Torchic, etc. Major events (gym battles, team leaders, rival battles, Elite Four) must be done at the same time in both games. The rest of these are rules for added challenge: Pokemon caught in the wild must be of opposing gender (or nongendered) and cannot be of the same primary type. Between both teams of six, all pokemon must have unique primary types. For example, you cannot both have a psychic type at the same time.

There are plenty of adults that enjoy Pokémon too, even on RU-vid. They’re called Pokétubers and there’s actually a lot more intense moments and strategy involved when battling against other human beings.

Honestly the reason I like gen 5 over the earlier is that grinding for levels is SO MUCH EASIER. Like, in heart gold you need to spend multiple hours to grind to Red's level, in black 2? 1 hour at most

I'm not sure if you guys play Pokemon already, but it's definitely a fun game to play. The Nuzlocke is a bit of a challenge, and can be heartbreaking sometimes. But ultimately I would love to see you guys try it

I wanted to do one of this challenges, I chose pokémon pearl since it's one of the ones I've played the least, but I have to admit that it's getting exhausting, being so careful even while training so that I don't lose a loved pokémon is stressing, I plan on finishing it, but tbh the nuzlocke is not giving me a good very good time Hehe I just wanted to share the experience on this

your "pikachu" game brought up traumatizing memories because i know EXACTLY where you got it from. From the pokemon movie where mew and mewtwo accidentally turn ash into a stone statue and all the pokemon started crying which brought him back to life 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Edit: the pikachu slap thing also came from that movie when pikachu was fighting his clone and they were tiredly slapping each other into exhaustion and probably death

The reason Zipzapzop survived is cause of the 80 Marils jaden had defeated and with each one she defeated, it gave Zipzapzop HP EV stats with each level up and then zipzapzop became bulky as hell. With each pokemon you defeat you get those evs depending on the pokemon you battle. For example if you defeat 100 Ponyta, thos ponyta will most likely give you speed ev stat boosts making your pokemon fast as can be

The reason Zip Zap Zop survived is because marril gives 2 HP IV’S and so by taking out 80 marril Zip Zap Zop gained 160 HP IV’S which really beefed it up and allowed it to survive. It jaden had not fought the marrils Zip Zap Zop would have died
