Press release from Dallas Police before Samuel Jamal White was arrested. On February 8, 2016, a female victim entered her apartment in the 7300 block of Skillman Street when she encountered an unknown black male suspect inside wearing a black hoodie, black pants and gloves and a mask over his face. The suspect had a weapon and sexually assaulted the victim. He then stole property from the residence, took the victim's debit card and car keys and fled in the victim's 2006 gray Lexus. On February 11, 2016, the Dallas Police Department released surveillance footage of a suspect who had used the victims debit card at a convenience store about 30 minutes after the attack. As a result of that broadcast, we received tips from the community that led to the identification of Samuel "Jamall" White B/M DOB 05-26-1988 as a suspect in that offense. Detectives have since obtained an arrest warrant for him for the offense of Aggravated Sexual Assault F/1 with a $100,000 bond. Once the identification was made, Detectives found that Samuel Jamall White may have committed an additional aggravated sexual assault at the Walnut Hill DART rail station on September 27, 2015. This offense was initially investigated by DART Police, but they were unable to find the victim. Dallas detectives were able to find the victim in late December but had no identification of the suspect. We believe that the video from the February 8 offense matches the video from the DART station attack in September. We are filing an additional charge of Aggravated Sexual Assault F/1 on Mr. White. Detectives also found where Mr. White had pawned property from a burglary that occurred on December 16, 2015, at 8515 Park Lane.
